Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London is a great song, and Warren does a great performance. However, it's not often that a cover version of a song is as good as or better than the original, but this really is! Great execution and amazing sound quality! Turn it up!!🙂👍
Best version of this song ever, there is a huge gap to next best, whoever that it. Rarely heard a song sung in such a way the singer could be the subject. Just awesome.
Tex is not underrated. He's the most legendary front man, fronting the legendary Beasts of Bourbon, Cruel Sea, the Johnny's, the Dark Hoses Tex Don and Charlie, Ring of Fire. He is a living legend, thank you and you're welcome
The irony is Warren Zevon thought this song was awful mostly because of the lyrics. The problem - the music was too good and now we have a song we all love and this version does it much credit in the vocal area.
For sure. A towering figure in person. Saw him at the Tote in Melbourne tears back. But when you listen to his solo stuff you realise he's quite a sensitive man.

I think Tex may need healing.His singing is suffering from his stress maybe, with his as a rocker. Probably been needing a break for 10 years or more. He's still great of course.
