Our first TT had the East to West bed and a year later we traded in for North to South bed. The East to west got old quickly. Yet we had a BH and I was OK sleeping in the bottom bunk. But wife regardless wanted a larger TT and caught this bug called Happy Wife lol; so we went with a Grand Design. 22mle. Yet I’m a fan of the Geo Pro’s/E Pros’s and Surveyor’s and Flag Staff Mini Lite from Forest River. We are watching because she is listening now and is considered downsizing … Yet so much compromise; example that 3 burner cook top in a small TT .. crazy when they make a two Burner that will do the Job and give you more counter top ; but the one thing we cannot do without is a 12V compressor fridge. All our TT’s have a had it and we won’t do without. Nothing better then able to load up your fridge get up to temp at your loading site and take the road and fridge keeps everything at operating safe temps.
This is basically the type of RV trailer I would like to get, bunk beds with a full bath. Although the current SUV I have will not be able to tow it, I got the car before really even thinking about buying an RV.
@@TheWanderingMantis there's quite a few issue these with the appropriate engine that can tow 3,500 lb, I've looked into this. And there's quite a few RV trailers that are under 3500 lb, it's not a ton but there's more than a few; you're not going to get anything exceptionally large, but you can definitely get a under 18 ft camper.
Tell me about it! I was embarrassed editing it. I have a problem when I rehearse stuff that I forget four takes in that I repeated that word. It happens in my regular life all of the time so unfortunately it’s a part of me 🤷🏻♂️
@@TheWanderingMantis Haha, no seriously, great video. We are picking up our 2022 E-Pro 19BH and are glad to see so many videos of people really loving this camper. Seems like we made a great choice!
@@TheWanderingMantis how long do you think it would run on just 12 volt power? Even with two batteries. I would imagine a pulled quite a lot of power, and car batteries don't provide that much power, even deep cycle batteries.
You know I am not sure. I have only the stock battery they gave me which is not a deep cycle. I have had it run all day during the day but of course I’ve had the sun. I’ve had it run a good long while into the night but I wasn’t doing anything else. The battery is dead by morning though
Yea so it’s been 2 1/2 months and they just now got it started for repair, says it will take 4-6 weeks for parts before they can begin, so I’m looking at 4-5 months of not being able to use it on top of that 🤦🏻♂️
Sure! I did tow it with a Ford Explorer Sport. The explorer sport has a higher towing rating than the base model. The trailer is really light comparatively speaking. Unfortunately a week ago the trailer was destroyed in a tornado.
@@TheWanderingMantis OMG! Sorry to hear that! The reason I asked about the SUV is that we have WV Atlas and it has 5000lb tow capacity and 500lb. HOW can you put a trailer like this 425lb dry on a hitch of any SUV when you put LP tanks, battery, all cargo (front storaga right behingd the hitch the tounge weight must be 600-700 lb.
@@michelelovesfreedom So, believe it or not, I am STILL battling between progressive and the RV dealership and several other involved to get my trailer back. I intend to do a video when I do get it back to talk about my ordeal, needless to say it’s been a nightmare
@@TheWanderingMantis okay cool, yeah I have a 2017 4-cylinder Chevy Equinox, which is only rated to tow 1500 lb, and you really can't get any kind of wild RV trailer for 1500 lb. Now if I had gotten the six-cylinder, then I would have a 3500 lb tow capacity. But back then I wasn't thinking about RV trailers, is what it is. Few more years once I get the current car paid off, we will see what I do...
