Their outfits are so 80s and 2000s at the same time. Costume designs on Disney Channel back then were always...interesting. yet, strangely i like them 😆
As a 2000s baby the y2k thing was so cool in its time but seeing as I grew up wearing public school uniforms to school (while also thinking wearing casual clothing was a fictional thing and not something almost the whole country except the south practices) I'm almost glad I didn't embarrass myself with the outfits. They were bad. They still are bad. Why so many layers.
@@itshyeonjindae honestly, good for her (though I wish she could’ve done so doing something she actually liked… in fact, even if she did, it’s always unfair to put a child in the position of the sole family breadwinner. That’s child stardom for you.)
@@LizBizEEEE I recognized it back then, but only because I was obsessed with Selena’s disney-era music lol. Her music videos would come on between shows
I thought the same when I saw people get famous on TikTok for “dancing” like imagine putting blood sweat and tears into your craft only for someone who basically does a sloppy version of sign language and barely bends their knees get famous for their dancing and invited countrywide to teach a dance they stole 😂
@@TahtahmesDiary sIGN LANGUAGE? 😭 lmao But yeah, true. Same thing with music. You have a shitton of people online who call themselves producers, musicians, etc. And then it's literally just stitching presets together, uploading it on soundcloud and going "hey guys, check out my nEw SIcK bEaT". And it's the same tired ass trap beat with an airy synth for the catchy chord progression. Actual musicians often go ignored. (Btw, not saying trap is bad. Just saying that it's become a repetitive oversaturated genre. I'd actually like to see it evolve and grow. Imo, its current state is terrible for legit musicians who produce trap music, bcs many ppl see it as the amateur hour of music genres. :/)
@@TahtahmesDiary can guarentee they couldn"t give a fuck. Tik toc dancers will never go further than maybe appearing at an award show and being forgotton six months later. Pro dancers have carreers.
@@TahtahmesDiary ain’t the TikTok dancers fault. If you need someone to blame for some reason, blame the viewers who happen to have a taste for TikTok dances and not the ballads and break dances. The popular TikTok’s are the ones that the fans can imitate. Professional dancers dance with too much skill for that. Something easy and sweet goes a long way
Girl you make my Day. I’ve been going through a really crappy time getting diagnosed with lupus and 4 surgeries in 5 months. I haven’t smiled or laughed so hard as you’ve made me. Truly, thank you. It means so much to me!
Anyone remember the "Make Your Mark" dance competition that kids could compete in by sending videos of us dancing in 2012💀 I remember practicing every day for ts I wanted it so bad
my sisters begged my mom to name me after cece from shake it up they ended up naming me cecilia, cece for short since it was my great grandmas name lol
Lol when my little sister was born my mom asked 6 yr old me to name her. So i named her Mary-Ashley Kate after the olsen twins😭 lol to make it worse all my siblings gave her a name and my mom chose my option as her first and second names! She has like 8 names excluding our two last names in total
@@preciouslovi difference is Zendaya is actually a trained dancer and Bella Thorne never was, soooo rocky dancing like that was the choreographers bringing Zen down to Bella’s level 😭😂
I remember seeing the preview commercials of this show before episodes aired & instantly becoming in love with Rocky & her style😭 I thought she was so cool the entire show & wanted to dress like her so bad. I kinda still like that fashion style now but more adapted to todays styles lol
This show came out at the EXACT moment I was detaching from Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows so I always thought it was hella goofy 💀💀💀 this show and Dog With A Blog wtf was thatttt
me & my sister have been taking professional dance classes since the age of 3 . we did ballet , tap , jazz , etc. by the time shake it up aired we were around 8 & 10 years old . when they did the “make your mark” sweepstakes , we auditioned both times . in our audition tapes we freestyled using Rocky & Cece’s dance moves instead of what we were taught . we ended up not making it (obviously) & ironically they chose a ballerina as one of their finalists . maybe we should’ve used our training after all 😭😭😭😭😭😭
