With tools for the bike, shoot for 35#'s or less for touring. Get a bathroom scale and a kitchen scale. Weigh everything and if the different items will do the same thing, choose the lightest. Beautiful scenery-Colorado. Lived there as a kid, remembered my Dad loved to fish in and around the lakes there, remembered the fishy stench of lake shores with dead washed up fish, and Flies.
