ROCKY MOUNTAIN 8K is the culmination of several years spent filming in the rugged mountains of Colorado. Situated in the heart of Colorado's Front Range, Rocky Mountain National Park spans more than 400 square miles of jaw-dropping mountain beauty. Journey with us as we experience all four seasons of life high in the wild heartland of the continental divide.
Rocky Mountain was the first film we chose to shoot in all four seasons because of the amazing change that takes place throughout the park during that time. Our primary focus was the fall season due to the spectacular fall colors but also the elk rutting season which is incredible to witness.
The most popular sections of Rocky Mountain National Park are situated next to Estes Park, Colorado. We spent a great deal of time in this section of the park capturing it's epic scenes.

Breathtaking! Normally I wouldn't be as interested in hiking the Colorado Rockies, (as there are much more rugged mountains in the Cascades and elsewhere in the U.S.), but those fall colors really make them stand out! I now have a strong desire to hike them in the fall.

Love it! The moonset / title scene was a real highlight for me. Really, really good stuff! Love being able to see those shadows dance across the landscape too. I feel like RMNP is really good for that. I've just made a video myself about a snowshoe / photography trip up to Dream Lake myself, and if you ever have a spare moment I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. The conditions were quite windy and challenging, which gave it a unique feel imo. Anyways, great video, I've subscribed and am looking forward to more! I

I've never actually been there in the summer. Too many tourists. I go up and XC ski in the winter. It's beautiful and quiet then.

Why do all these 4k and 8k demos have to be shot in time lapse with clouds zooming over and cars / people scuttling around like little ants? Annoying and quite unnecessary if you want to display the content correctly. Very amateurish.
