The rocky movies are more than a series of films. They're anthems of victory for the underdogs, the beaten, battered and bruised, and the ultimate inspiration, to keep moving forward no matter the hits.
Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ss
Absolutely..in this iconic character of sheer grit, Stalone reached the hearts of people up against it the world over offering invaluable hope and inspiration. One of the greatest cinematic characters of all time.
Im only 17, i was born in 03 and even do i never got to see these in there prime my family showed me all these from 1 to 5 and i love it. Thanks Silvester Stallon for these masterpiece of motivating movies, quotes and songs. ❤
Whoever made this really gets the franchise really well. Like at 9:26 - sneaking that little clip in is one of my favorite parts from the entire franchise and I couldn't have picked a better spot to slide it in
the actor of rocky(stallione) is the one who made the whole franchise even the story, but even though he made them because of legal reasons he doesn't own the movies
@@kianalvizo6407 The Hollywood "tribe" screwed him out of his creation...just look at the last name of the guy that owns the rights and why Stallone wants nothing to do with Creed 3...people are starting to notice.
“If that bell rings and I’m stilling standing... then I’ll know I’m not just some bum from the docks/ neighborhood” The rocky series is amazing I just love it I really like it because me being a wrestler and having boxed before it keeps me motivated when I feel like quitting (and I think about quitting every day) this keeps me tough and strong I LOVE Rocky!
@@bbp2930 I would say find a move you really like and stick with it because that could be ur thing and when someone defends it ur gonna be comfortable in that moment.
Rocky Balboa is my childhood hero... Rocky Balboa has always been in my corner, ready to give me instructions for the match. This franchise is really my childhood. I owe you so much, thank you for existing Rocky. and thank you for this video, man.
Hey man I wanted to just let you know. My wrestling career is almost over for high school and honestly I’ve watched this video before every single match or when I was cutting weight. This video has gotten me through tough times in my family and in school. This year is my final year and my wrestling season will only be one month long and trust me when I saw this, I will probably memorize every single word in this video because that’s truly how inspirational this edit is.
ROCKY... MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIE FRANCHISE EVER!!!!! This Makes Me Cheer, Get Pumped & Cry At Times. Thank You Sly For Making Us Believe In Ourselves. The Underdog Can Win It Big. You Showed Us That.
Just finished watching all the 6 parts. This entire franchise is almost surreal. It really resonates in the core of every single person like nothing else. Hats off to Stallone for conceiving such an iconic character and story line. A story that has inspired millions and will keep inspiring millions in the year's to come. #Keeppunching
Rocky 6 was the last of the rock. People doubted the movie just like how people doubted rocky can fight again. It was real. So much hate went to Stallone then when the movie came out people were amazed. Rocky 6 is my favorite film. It REALLY ended the rocky series
I always been a very huge fan of all the Rocky movies including the Creed I only wish I could have the opportunity to meet Sylvester Stallone and to tell them that he is my hero believe it or not because all of his movies of Rocky inspire me and motivate me especially number 6 when he tells his son it's not about how hard you hit it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward he is so right about that one thank you so much as I love you my hero
I totally agree. I also love in Rocky 4 when he tells his son "Going that one more round, when you don't think you can, is what makes all the difference in your life".
No one ever asked Stallone but when Rocky became a huge hit did he intend it to go as a Greek tragedy. You have Apollo's Hector to Rocky's Achilles. Apollo is the hero that loses it and loses his life trying to gain it back. Rocky is the one that achieves his dream but it costs him along the way. They are intertwined. Best moments: Rocky 1: 1) The training montage and music. You want to run up a mountain and beat the shit out of a Yeti. 2) Tony Burton's performance watching Rocky in the meat locker and realizing that this may be a real fight. Brilliant physical acting by Burton and a quiet turning point in the film. 3) The fight itself and Rocky losing in the end. Rocky 2: 1) Tony Burton and Carl Weather's performance where Duke is trying to talk Apollo out of a rematch. 'I won but I didn't beat him.' 'You beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before and the man kept coming after you. We don't need that man in our life'. Weather's eyes and physical reaction. An amazing scene that doesn't get enough credit. At that moment Apollo is the Greek hero facing the task he believes he can't overcome. 2) Though cheesy where Adrian tells Rocky to 'Win..... Win.' It is a bit of a cheesy sequel to Rocky 1's training montage but it still works.
Don't understand why Rocky V gets so much criticism. I liked how Rocky lost all his riches and had to move back to humble Philly. He then tries to fill the void by training Tommy and then eventually gets betrayed. It seems like the Rocky character loses so many things close to his heart but the series teaches us to bounce back from them. Not to mention that the Mickey scene is probably my favourite movie scene of all time.
Alexander Wilson Rocky fans need to pretend like 5 never happened. Just like this guy who made the montage did ! And that scene with Mic ? 100 % plagerised from Cus D'amato !
5:00 to 6:05 Can't get anything better than this... Rocky + Freddie = emotions reaching infinity. Thank you God... Thank you Stallone... Thank you Freddie...
Up to the point where Rocky 5 was omitted, this was a great compilation. Huge mistake to do that. By the way it wasn't the worse in the series but i am left disappointed you could have done a better job with this compilation to include some of the better clips or edits from R.5 as a result. Creed does not belong in this compilation either. It is not a Rocky film
I don't but i think it should have be included in the compilation. Rocky 5 was ok on the action but rediculous on the storyline. However Rocky Balboa was slow moving and not very much fight action with a pace similar to Rocky 2.
I owe everything I have to the "Rocky" films. I was once a dam good amateur boxer. I never turned pro because instead, I chose my education. I remember when I was in Law School; & in all 3 years, there was a class that would devastate me. During finals, before class I would awake early, work out to the Rocky Theme, & then go to school & take my exams. It worked! Thank you Mr. Stallone for all you did for am entire generation, especially mine.
Oh man, the Rocky saga is my childhood. Thank you for making this incredible retrospective! I only wish you showed a little bit of V more, but great nonetheless. You certainly deserve more subscribers.
That part where Adrian says you can't win followed by Rocky standing on top of the mountain gets to me. Even loved ones doubt us and we can even surprise them and prove to them we have to follow our instincts sometimes.
I watch this everyday when doing cardio. I hope you see how inspiring your work is and how much this video means to me! I hope with everything you have to make a remake of this with creed 3! It would mean so much :D
Every single person in this world is ROCKY. Just imagine, what would it be like if Sly hadn't played the role. UNIMAGINABLE. This makes all those years flashback in an instant... Great editing. Marvellous.
MrMe4u2nv Idk, I liked Rocky 5... Super happy that Tommy Gunn got this break before his world collapsed. What a wild and crazy ride he had in his short 46 years... Either way, I was first in line when all these Rocky movies came out. Like Eddie Murphy said Italians went crazy for that shit... Alright Rockoooo...
I'm a diehard Rocky fan for over 40 years now --- but I really can't ever like Rocky 5 --- I felt that Stallone made that movie out of necessity to end the franchise and it shocked him how many people hated it
This was so awesome. It brought back so many old and recent memories. I had a Rocky week where me, my two boys and my wife each night watched all the Rocky movies consecutively. After that we all went to Philadelphia along with another hard core Rocky fan. We all ran up the Rocky stairs and saw the statue. My son brought his saxophone and played the Rocky theme songs at the foot of the stairs. We posted it on RU-vid but they cut out the sound on the video. Thanks for this great compilation. Although, I was a little disappointed that Rocky V was not included. Only because it just would have made the entire sequence complete.
This genuinely got me crying in tears , and i whatched rocky and creed like 5/6 months ago for the first time , but in this time , i swear I’ve atached to this characters more than anyone , I can’t explain this , fr
This was amazing!!! I have to say I cried through most of it, All of the Rocky (Rocky V as well, which I love!! ) movies take me back to a certain time, Thank you!!
I'm 59yrs old fighting with a rare atouimme illness bullous pemphigoid realated to lymphoma which my grandfather had skipped a generation. I'm a retired dental labratory Technician .Barry shulman.
thefightingfadora kid Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay for Rocky in three and a half days, shortly after watching the championship match between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner that took place at Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio on March 24, 1975. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky
This is the best Rocky summary hands down. I think I've watched this over 30 times already. The editing and pacing is fantastic. Thank you for making this.
I just relived my Life! I was a young man when the Rocky Series hit the theaters. Throughout my college years, especially as an undergrad, Rocky's Character didn't let me quit @ ANYTHING. Then I enter Law School, & it was 3 years of pure Hell, & again, the Rocky Movies never let me quit. 30 yrs later, as I reflect on the true meaning of what the Rocky movies meant to me, I still refer to them & I even recommend them to my students, when I'm a substitute teacher @ my old High School. I went on to become a Criminal Defense Attorney. Right before any Trial, I too would wake up very early to train because it gave me a psychological edge as I addressed the jury. I won over 95% of my trials. Now, I no longer practice Law. I'm a substitute teacher, & Boxing Trainer. All for Free. My $87.00 Substitution Teaching Check, I donate it back to my school, & it goes to the girl's Softball Team, the Football Team, or Track Team of my old High School. That's the impact that the Rocky Movies had on me as a poor young man.
I too am a substitute teacher trying to get back into being a full time teacher. This fall marks year 3. I got a coaching position at a school I like. Check the video Rocky Character Analysis on here. Mind blowing. I can’t recommend it enough! Keep moving forward! I will if you will, brother!
You know, I can still remember being in the Cinema as an 18 year old watching it! When Rocky puts Ivan Drago down at the end, my three mates and I jumped out of our seats, punched the air and cheered like we where at the fight. The only times I have done that to that extent since was Lineker against West Germany, Sturridge's against Wales and Trippier against Croatia. Go figure?
Stallone is a GOD to me no one gives me motivation like he does. Met him in Manchester he came to the MEN area to talk about his life and I ran to the stage just to shake his hand I had a rambo shirt on he said nice shirt kid then I was tackled by security and put back in my allocated seat. That night was better than losing my virginity literly met a god.
Legit crying, this hits a chord like no other. The will to keep fighting, to get knocked down and find the spirit to get back up. The need to test ones metal againts overwhelming odds, I feel that real deep. I'll keep fighting. One punch at the time, one step at the time, one round at the time.
+Matthew Fink I think it's because even Stallone ignored it. After all the sixth film wouldn't exist if Rocky 5 hadn't been ignored. Rocky had brain damage remember? It wouldn't make sense for him to fight again in Rocky Balboa.
+Dallas Kinard I disagree. You can also find plenty of comments were Stallone states he regrets making it and considers that it doesn't exist even calling it a mistake. To you the movie is canon, to me and Stallone it was mistake that should never have happened and I don't think it did. I probably won't convince you otherwise and you won't convince me. So just agree to disagree.
