That writer must put in certain elements into his work 🎀 some of these elements are truth💐 strength 🌹 courage and lastly about love❤️ Normally you would have to have great actors or great characters in this piece of work but in order to make it so good it must be consistent n its true. Well Grace Plunkett and her beloved husband had those extraordinary elements. When you put those elements which express 🙏how each person or persons in the story reflect their character🙏 it will automatically turn into something amazing and unforgettable because it touches your heart. ❤️ The story of Grace plunkett is by far one of those outstanding stories that will live on and on . Also, when I learned of Stewart's Scottish blood... It was pretty cool and gave me more of an eye-opening of WHY he LOVES this SONG as MUCH as HE DOES... I wonder why Joseph and Grace are not buried together? Maybe the thing is to keep the executed heroes together at Arbour Hill, I’ve just finished the book 16 lives,Joseph Mary Plunkett, what a lovely, beautiful, brave, intelligent young man he was, so brave , as was his wife Grace Gifford, god bless all the brave freedom fighters. I was struck how much of a scholar Joseph was amongst other qualities. I came to uk in 1957 aged 2, my granddaughter knows all the history of our nation, Ireland will be united one day sooner than later.☘️🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪
Great respect to Grace and all the brave men and women of the Easter Rising and a very beautiful song indeed however, do we really think its appropriate for a Commander of the British Empire to sing this song? a British Empire let me remind you that Joe and his comrades gave their lives fighting against and an honour (CBE) introduced by no less than King George V himself who was King at the time of the Easter Rising and who's goverment "executed Joe", an honour with the words "For God and The Empire" inscribed on it ...seriously? And when I think of all those Irish Republican MP's down the years who have steadfastly refused to swear an oath of allegiance to the crown...For what died the sons of Roisin..."Or for faceless men who for Mark and Dollar, betray her to the highest bidder".

Rod is Scottish and a hypocrite they will do anything for money. I'm sure Graham Norton will forward you a copy. Rod made i tt clear he was a Royalist and hated Republicans. Fair enough but don't go to Ireland and make your money out of a Republican love song. The Scots got free land in Northern Ireland remember.
