Maybe yes, but honestly I don't feel the need of another record style American song book book Maybe whit Jools Holland by his side this album a little better than the boring song book standard

@@musicmoodroberto8840 well, it depends, Rod had no more big hits in the days before he recorded the American Songbook albums and they were a big success, because no one thought the old songs would fit so well with his voice an he developed ( or they developed him) new fans from people that did not like his rock and pop tunes! (i remember my mother said to me - finally he’s singing songs i like, and i would not have believed they sound so good with his scratchy voice! So i think it was a lucky shot for him, and he had a great comeback. (but perhaps he did not like them personally too, because live in concert you hardly find tunes he performs from the American songbook.)

@@martinjones6984 Maybe, but Rod must sing song the rock n roll, soul, blues, Country music and swing music, like frank Sinatra or T. Bennett Stop with american song book and old standard old swing 😊

@@michaelberger9507 I do not agree, yes maybe, timeless I love Rod, I have all his records from Jeff Beck Group, Faces and solo records Rod, the best one rock , soul singer of all time I don't understand this direction to swing sound again after boring 5 American jazz standard records I still hope for an albums like every picture tells a story, Atlantic crossing, out of order,, spanner in the works or Time Just my opinion 😊👍
