I've reviewd the NT-USB a few years back and have been using the Video Mic Pro ever since. I'm really looking into the Video MIC NTG for all the mentioned purposes. Lovely Mic and great video! Thanks
What did you use to record the comparison? All modern smartphones will produce close to great sound, external mic is useful for outdoors and windy conditions, but not as critical as you demonstrate.
Ok but what mic are YOU using? You aren't using the one you're talking about because the one you talk about is a super cardioid mic (most shotgun mics are) and when you spin it around the sound doesn't change. So youre not using it. So then what mic do you use?
Bro, it says Rode on the mic. AKG and Sure are also brands that offer good mics too! Any decent ribbon microphone is what you are after, looking at the features and understanding microphone patterns helps too!
Can you let us know your settings? You recorded with it pretty close, do you have it on the pad -20db setting? Or do you leave it off? Do you use either of the high pass filiters? Curious as your audio is pretty on point brother!
@@michaelmarcano9200 If you are a content creator yourself I would reccomend finding your a program that allows audio and video editing all in one if you don't have it yet. RU-vid should have a tutorial on how to get a basic, crisp audio rendering. There should be no need to spend time engineering audio on simple videos like shorts or a hobby channel, although, if you get into it I know the internet is chock full of tutorials and courses for all this.
RODE! I like all the extras, too! OneStopShopping! Psst... to compare the two mics, hold each at the same distance from your mouth, please. Easy mistake, no biggie. Thanks again, for this and even more for ALL the great tips and tricks!
Joseph, thank you for the comment. Great point about comparing them at the same distance. I figured I'd do it the way people will use each respective mic in a practical way. Stay tuned for a follow up video. Appreciate you and everybody else watching my videos.
@@arsenkay I see! Thank you. Realistically, although not practical, most users will place the mic "away", where it can't be seen. It's okay, your message still gets across, thanks again for a recommendation for a good product with all the "attachment attachments" required! 👍 Well done! Note: you are making a positive impact on the world, my friend. Keep up the good work, love and light to you and yours! 🤓
Well... When you name the video while mentioning the name of product and review in it then we don't even need to look till end to know the name of product like this one. They just need to be ignorant. Anyways, thank you for providing yet another great Gadget information.
Is it really "rode" it's called? Its so annoying when companies use ø instead of o. In Danish monster is the same in Danish or English but there is also a word mønster with is "pattern" so thats what i think when I see the energy drink
I don’t think the difference will be that much you show. Of course a built-in mic of a phone is no match to it but what you demonstrated is greatly exaggerated. Phone mics are not that bad and most recent phones have more than 1 mic. But in your example it sounded like the phone’s mic is at the other corner of the room.
