I've spent my whole life being unorganized and struggling to be organized, it sucks and makes me depressed. I truly understand your plight, Mike, and your mother is right, just start, no matter where just start somewhere and you will get it done.
It's German in Venice doing what he does best - having fun at everything Mike does! Thanks for the ONE A.M. tour of BH ! 5.3 Mike's original design henna tattoos out of 5 for this vid.
I love all the videos you make. You sure know a lot about southern California for being originally from Germany.Love your story telling.I learn so many things from you that I never knew about places and people. I too love dressing casual like you .It's probably the reason my wife left me after 33 yrs ? . Anyhow, now at 63 I find myself wanting to dress up when I am out and about especially for Sunday Church services . Keep up the incredible work you are doing.Hope to meet you someday and buy you lunch or whatever. Thanks 🙏👍 SergeantC
Spend the weekend getting the apartment cleaned and sorted out, your mom would say and she would be right.😀👍 It's so easy for domestic chores to mount up and get on top of you and when done you'll feel a whole lot better to plan other things. Might make for a good video to inspire others.
Dang, Mike! How many languages do you know? You're a pretty smart dude! It's so weird seeing the streets of LA so empty and quiet. Every time I'm in that area it's crowded! Yeah Michael I feel the same. I have so much organizing to make a video and on top of that I have a full time job and it's really hard to organize all of that. But hey, at least you're close to 300k. I couldn't even imagine at this point what that feels like. Congrats on the 300k!
@@spamanator666 It's common for people to speak 2 languages but it's clear that Mike knows more than 2 languages . That was my point not that he can speak multiple languages it's that he can speak more than 2
I love your videos Mike. I’ve been watching you for over a year now. Yes, it hard to get everything done in a day especially if your a RU-vidr, editing takes a long time. Just do what you can everyday, that’s all anyone can do. Miss seeing your mom on each video, loved her.
Giv it's crazy if you have big Money you buy all this expensive stuff to show off! My grandmother had a tiny house with an acre of land all beautiful gardens unbelievable gardens! Her house had very beautiful unbelievable inside! Plant stores would think she was a poor little old lady & give her plant clippings! She wasn't poor she could have bought thier whole store! What she was is a very smart lady! She actually grew beautiful plants from those clippings! She loved flowers! She knew how to breed them! GIV these days I can't keep up there's not enough time in a day!
Thank you for sharing 😊 very interesting hope you are staying safe out there it looks scary I am like you I want to go somewhere and then I have to pack and find out how to get there and when it comes to cleaning I tell myself I will do it tomorrow LoL 😆 it happens to me too maybe because I am getting older don't know 😆👍
It’s hard brother , I’m 27 I work uber and lyft everyday no days off and I have a tamales 🫔 business going every Saturday and Sunday 6am to 10am , and I’m about to start a carpet cleaning business, I work hard for my wife, daughter and mom , my mom recently landed in the hospital and me always working hard was a blessing I had money saved up to pay her medication no papers so everything had to be out of pocket , but their my motivation to keep grinding and pushing through every stress and pain , I recently started my RU-vid channel, I see the blessing you bring to us and we all have a story to tell that some people will love to hear 💯🙌🏼
There is no place like Rodeo Drive at night with few ppl out. It's magical! It's been awhile so thanks for taking us along. Don't worry Mike, when you're truly inspired to do something, you'll do it and your days seem very full. Maybe you just need another vacation? Sounds like a great idea. Enjoy Venice for me and thanks for always wonderful content. See you next time GIV.🌴🌴🌴🌴🏖️🏖️
Thanks you soo much GERMAN in VENICE Mike the man you have keep my entertained during my DARKEST days RECOVERING from back SURGERY since may 11th and always enjoy when your down at ocean with lue and suki suki.
it's been my absolute dream to visit america (especially california) since i was a kid but i never have and it doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. your videos are the closest thing to this experience and they always give me such a happy feeling so i wanna thank you for taking the time to do this!
I believe Jackie 1961 is referring to Jackie Kennedy's love of the handbags Gucci produced in 1961. Gucci has reintroduced the 1961 line and built upon it.
That fire department connection on the building is known as a standpipe. They would pump water into that to boost water pressure on the buildings sprinkler system in the event of fire and each floor will have connections to attach their attack lines from so they don‘t have to drag miles of hose to reach upper floors. Now you know. LOL!
I was so happy to watch a new video just before work 😁 sounds like you need a maid/personal assistant Michael 😂 I wanted to go to Graceland too but didn’t for the same reasons. It is me! I came into your shop almost 2 weeks ago with my cousin from Germany! Now my son wants to meet you too so I’ll be back 😂👍
Hey there Mike. Ah cool. Love your late night videos. You look great buddy. The thing is it doesn't matter cause, you have a good and beautiful heart, you are a nice person. Thanks again for your brilliant work ❤️❤️🙌👊😎
I have a real MCM, real leather!! Unfortunately they don't make them with real leather anymore. Fun to see this German in Vernice! I have not been to Rodeo Drive in 30 years. Glad to see it is still there!!!
Not all people are the same G.I.V. and you are who you are being lazy or dirty does not make you a bad person and whatever yours looks like at home is your beeswax.... you are still Awesome just not awesome at cleaning or organizing , give your mom a big hug stay safe my friend and God Bless !
Hey GIV!! I'M OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND NOW I'M IN GERMANY!! KROMBACH!! I love your vids!! Keeps me and my wife looking for more!! Your videos makes us feel part of your journey!!
I’m getting older too, if we had kids then I think we wouldn’t question our apprehensive nature so much. It pays to be cautious but I feel like there’s no real consequence sometimes. You’re awesome man!
LOL bike names Stan & Ollie... Dick und Doof! Fun window shopping, Mike. Some info: 1.The red "graffiti" on the sidewalk are utility survey marks to show where the pipes and cables are underneath. It's required before any construction or renovation to keep from disrupting service and for safety. 2. The "hydrant" isn't coming out of the building, it's for the fire engine pumper to hook up to pump water INTO the building so the firemen that go in can hook up hoses inside and spray water. Also for the hoses in racks that you see in stairwells. 3. I'd guess that store that's usually unoccupied sells custom men's clothing with fittings by appointment only... or maybe they go to celebrities' homes to fit the clothes. The Ferrari baseball cap you said was for you looked very cool. Rich people live different ways. My theory is if someone has worked his way up, he's more likely to be simpler in clothing taste and not so showy. Maybe in cars and houses, they splurge, as it's more what they're working toward. People handed their wealth, like the Kardashians, tend to want the spotlight. It's a theory, anyway.
🤠👍👍 you asked a question at 16:19 "what does that mean? Jacqueline Lee Kennedy Onassis was an American socialite, writer, photographer, and book editor who served as first lady of the United States from 1961 to 1963, is my guess
I live in a small town in the UK, I struggle to understand these fancy clothes shop, I buy clothes fit for purpose and cheap, I get no satisfaction from clothes what so ever, LA seems very selfish place, God bless you GIV I love your videos, love from England 🏴
There's Alot of poor people in LA these rich people walk by to their fancy shops. . . Let them waste their money majority of Americans are Levi's and a t shirt . We're not the same as these peacock feather hats, rinestone cape, Ferrari sunglasses wearing loons with inheritance money.
@@jwallen158 Yeah and another thing to is the high taxes higher cost of living rent sky rocketing while alot Rich people don't do much to help and it's sad and that's why when I become Rich I would do lot's of charitable work to help the poor and homeless
I always learn so much from your videos Mike. Never seen Rodeo drive at night looks so nice with everything lit up. I understand the feeling of traveling as you get older maybe you need a girl friend to take care of you and help you with things like that. Thank you for sharing as always👍🏽🙏🏽😄
I think that the older we get, the less it is about partying and more about responsibility, your not lazy at all your being logical 😉 Love your videos ❤
I once worked for a TV producer who owned a large office building on Rodeo Drive . Property got so expensive there that it was better for him to move out and rent the office to someone else. He moved into the Big Blue Wale . He owned Star Search.
The high fashion has lost its identity in design...only their names are still surviving. Thanks for the update Mike... I used to be like you...night owl window shopper 😎 Tho the idea of cleanig and tiding up well you can share with us on your next vlog....before & after 😄😉 it will be fun watching for sure 👍😁
I hear ya! My mom always told me, put things back where you got them from. If you don’t do it now, you’ll have to fix it later. She was right. Things pile up. I’ve learned the hard way. I love this video and the commentary. You couldn’t be more right about money and appearances. It’s silly to me to be flashy and show off the items acquired. To me, I think it makes a person a target and it’s wasteful. I buy clothes that are timeless and good quality but not expensive. They are out there, one just has to look and I only buy what’s on sale. I’ve had many of my clothes for 20 years by taking care of them and finding good quality items. Keep up the videos. You’re an inspiration.
WOW! u are so right, Im about ur age and I hate planning things out like a hotel, plane tickets, etc., I just find it to be such a hassle now even though my mind is gear towards planning I just dislike it!
Mike im the same age as you and i can completely sympathize with you. I have ADHD and get discouraged easily sometimes, for instance i bought a new cell phone just last month and have not set it up fully. I get frustrated and dont know where to begin. So sometimes i just give up and say well maybe another time. Getting older is tough. As mom always said, your mind writes checks, your body cant cash. Dont worry to much about it, just do what makes you happy and everything will fall into place.
Always enjoy your content! I've always loved seeing California especially LA and Beverly Hills but I'm handicap with a brittle bone disease and these days I can't do much and it's hard to get out so I enjoy it through your channel. Love the hat.
As far as organization and cleaning. The best is to one day just start. Especially if you get up early and when you think about it, just do it, if you wait beyond 21 seconds then you will begin t wander and do something else. By just starting it helps, even if it is only one room or part of a space at a time. The "Palessi" was funny I checked the RU-vid video out. Its worth checking out. Thank you for sharing.
Haha, I found it funny when GIV had just given us that speech about keeping it low-key if he were rich and in the very next scene, he was admiring the Lamborghini and saying he’d take the yellow one. 😂
Hey Mike, you are more than welcome to visit us in koooooool Monterey Bay. Being a former L.A. resident (Porter Ranch to be exact), it's super hot, per all the news I am watching.
It's not laziness. It's common sense when everything is so prohibitive. Those with critical thinking skills who can work things out for themselves, carefully weigh the pros and cons. The way things are right now, the cons win every time. With our situations in dire straights, we are all peddling backwards for the time being. When the situation changes for the better, we can all start peddling forwards again. Right now we just have to be patient.
