I accept immigration has brought benefits to Ireland but it's gone past 10% now. All fairness the Polish, the Indian and many other people have integrated very well, but priority should always be given to the natives. If Ireland becomes united in the future, we could become a minority by 2040 due to the demographics, too expensive to have children, women naturally believe in hypergamy and are more discerning about their choice of partner and husband, and all these factors play a major role in Irish society. How to be an incompetent government minister: 1. Don't consult and engage with the local community. 2. Take away the only hotel from a town of 6,000 like Roscrea desperately needs. Less visitors to town which will affect the economy and tourism of the town. Local businesses will lose revenue which lead to more unemployment for the local population. 3. Putting asylum seekers in a location that 3-4 km from local town with no walking footpath whatsoever. This will make more difficult for social inclusion and integration. 4. Using your media contacts implying the whole town is racist despite the 1/5 of Roscrea's population is of foreign descent for years and the town has already taking in hundreds of asylum seekers before this disaster. 5. Not taken account for both stretched Garda & HSE resources in Roscrea. 6. Enforcing the stereotype of a Dublin Green TD who doesn't know how the rest of the country works beyond the M50.

Drying up the money and jobs in the rural small towns in Ireland, will go downhill quickly. People liked traveling to these place and spending money in these towns will have a big impact.

We were occupied by the Crown for 900 years and finally won our freedom at great personal cost in 1922. One of my grandfather's father was gunned down by the Auxilliaries in front of him during the War of Independence. My other grandfather was taken hostage one night along with the rest of his family in North King Street during the 1916 rising - the resulting trauma lasted them all their lives. It means something to be an Irish person - now a bare 100 years after winning our freedom, our own government is giving it away again - strangling small farmers to kowtow to the elites in EU and Davos, denying our young people access to housing by inviting in the hedge funds that wreaked havoc on this country during the austerity era - leaving the best and brightest of our youth deciding to emigrate yet again for a better life. While young people leave or or left living at home with their parents unable to marry or start a family often until it's too late- our future taxpayers - the Irish government instead incentivises ecomonic migrants from cultures alien to our own come here and be housed. How can it be acceptable to give a Ukrainian a grant of 10,000 for third level which is not means tested while an Irish person has a grant of only 3000 which is means tested down to their digestive tract? Or that of the over 300 transfers of refugee requests last year only three people were transferred back? 25% of the population was not even born here. Every time I go into my nearby town I see young non European males that are obviously freshly arrived on electric scooters or sitting in groups together. By allowing them to continue to come here sometime will inevitably happen. Our guard and army are depleted of numbers. They will eventually (as groups of young men with nothing to do ) turn violent. It happened in Sweden. It is already happening here.
Exploiting the fact that young kids were brought into the hotel yesterday by the Gardaí, who knew things were already tense, but the Gardaí still decided to bring all the refugees in. Que people nitpicking and blowing up a minor detail, in order to get our eyes and mind off the bigger issue. All I seen yesterday was people verbally giving out to the Gardaí , and Gardaí going overthetop with their actions.
