Because they were making demands with only 23.6% of the total vote and when they decided to re-engage the deals had already be done. Zuma was playing the waiting game and it didn’t work,and the EFF are just morons who flip flop constantly.
They both together got 39 seats while the coalition of the DA,ANC,IFP and another small party got 41 seats in the KZN parliament,just enough for a 50+% majority to govern.
The MK is the number 1 party in KZN, 3rd largest in the country. They are extremely interested in bettering the lives of South Africans in general and Black Africans in particular. Knowing how anti-transformation the DA and the ANC of Ramaphosa are, I don't blame the MK for not seeing themselves governing alongside the DA and ANC of Ramaphosa.
I wonder where you get that notion from..... that mk wants what's best for Black people. Iphi imali yethu uzuma ayinika ii-Guptas???? And when will he have his "Day in Court ". And hadn't the DA proven that they are the best at service delivery. Look at Umngeni Municipality.
So funny. We just had Ramaphosa re-elected yesterday, but they still talk about Zuma. Even when his party lost the vote to govern KZN but the talk is all about him. The man is great 🙏

MK had over 4 million South Africans vote for them, but they did not bother to arrive at the parliament sitting. Now they want to run the province. MK is showing itself far more comfortable sitting in court demanding the country listens to Mr Zuma.

Been saying all along. All an MK vote has done is opened the door to DA mostly. MK has led to attrition of EFF and ANC voters who would never have voted DA anyway.... made ANC lose 51% majority which has forced them to do the GNU which DA hugely benefitting from as second biggest party. Everyone has the right and should be respected for whoever they voted for but MK have played this wrong big time. Won by a country mile in KZN but unwillingness to negotiate and powerfull statements has just put parties off who would have likely worked with them. Completely overestimating thier influence at same time. If i had voted MK, id honestly feel disappointed and disillusioned right now.

Is he competent though? That’s what mattered to the MK Party voters who were tired of the incompetence. It was not about getting into power. It was about fixing the province, but yes for these people all that matters is being in power. MK won the province, so he is lying that there was no majority party - that was their wish and the tech people delivered.

How did NFP got 0,56% while they got 19, 548? My calculations says NFP only got 0,45% roundoff to the nearest zero =0%, which means NFP got 0 seat. Prove me otherwise
They could have saved the KZN from The GNU. Especially because Malema says it is only fair that the MK run KZN because they got majority of the vote. Like the ANC nationally they knew they were to retain the presidency, the speaker and the executive even if they didn't get outright majority
Numbers do not favour MK.They were facing a strong alliance.Now it is time to become a strong opposition because even this "holy alliance" led by ANC and DA also need strong opposition before it become arrogant like ANC,NP and all previous SA government who only delivers to the elite minority.
It's convenient for you to blame them when, in fact, a deal for KZN was made at the national level. It will be interesting to see how the IFP will succeed when they won't be able to pass any bills without the required 2/3 majority. MK would have faced the same issue, but they were spared the downfall. Their time will come.
Sorry Bibo it's a coalition agreed upon by how the South Africans voted. MK voters are just sore losers you weakened ANC and ANC looked for another coalition and that was the DA. MK broke the majority of the ANC WELL DONE 😂and MK pushed them into the arms of the DA AND IFP. THANKS MK.

Where are the views of Black parties like MK or EFF,this white channel only give coverage to white oriented parties like ANC,DA or IFP but those that were predominately voted by Black people are not given platform to express their views in channels like the racist enca and newsroom europe.

I am an MKP member. MKP was supposed to approach IFP immediately after the announcement of the results and govern the KZN finish and Klaar! Instead they were busy with their own things and their ego. We voted for MKP to take over KZN and the whole of South Africa. They were supposed to swallow their pride and negotiate with the ANC at national level and take deputy president position which is a critical position followed by EFF which would have been the majority needed to change the constitution and give the land back to their owners. I am hurt to the point of death.

MK were the only party who could've consolidated brown people power in government but they failed to keep them in power and that resulted in ANC and DA consolidating their power using a the underdog that everyone underestimated the IFP. Zuma might be indirectly the reason the whole country is in bed with the DAvil that is anti-brown and the Caucasian West agendas the ANC will have to support will be worse than they were already doing even when Zuma was President.
@@user-bc7by1jz7hyou are correct. Only MK failed my province of KZN. All my family voted for MK, now they are in tears. They left IFP hanging for hours at the last minute to negotiate. Instead of getting the ball rolling immediately after the 29th. Very disappointing.
