Cornell professor of Immunotoxicology Rodney Dietert suggests that the origin of asthma, autism, Alzheimer's, allergies, cancer, heart disease, obesity, and even some kinds of depression may have a lot to do with the microbiome. He reads from his book, _The Human Superorganism: How the Microbiome Is Revolutionizing the Pursuit of a Healthy Life.

Best book on health! Very grateful for your work Rodney! You have had a great influence on our farm and on my understanding of the importance of our raw milk dairy (probiotic and prebiotic) centerpiece as a microbiome tuner for the livestock we raise, which get excess fermented milk, for the farmers who get food from our farm, and for the soil on our farm through the manures.

I have to point out, as our friendship sprung forth from his literary loins, there is a little Shakespeare stood on your right shoulder throughout this presentation, Rodney :)

There is a lot new in the book. Read it. And then comment.

this guy is simply repeating long known information. nothing particularly useful for anyone and isn't discussing anything new among the field. Typical things most following the field all are well aware of. Doesn't discuss mechanisms of action, or gut-brain/liver axi in any substantial way.

Did you read his book? I was thinking of buying it (doing my research on him and stumbled upon your comment) but if all of the information is superficial, I won't.
