When I was a teenager, a lawyer recorded a cassette tape of the Aranjuez concerto performed by Paco de Lucía for me. It was the first time in my life that I had such an intimate contact with classical music. After a while, I started studying classical guitar and classical music changed my life. I can say with absolute certainty that after Paco de Lucía's great performance, this interpretation for three guitars is without a doubt the best version of this work that I have ever heard. Joaquim Rodrigo would be immensely moved and grateful for this great work. God bless you all!

This version is great, because the original with orchestra, swallows the guitar and the listener lost a lot of guitars passages. Marcin is fabulous snd the Duo id fantastic.

Paco de Lucía grabó este concierto en 1991. Con la Orquesta de Cadaqués. Es fabuloso. También te recomiendo que escuches otras versiones como la de John Williams o la de Pepe Romero, ya que la versión de Paco de Lucía es extraordinariamente hermosa, pero no se apega totalmente la partitura. Yo soy Guitarrista clásico, amateur, Pero soy fan, muy fan de Paco de Lucia, para mí, uno de los mejores guitarristas de todos los tiempos, aunque muy enclavado en el Flamenco. Saludos

This was amazing. Might actually be better than the original, because without amplification the guitar is very hard to balance with the orchestra; here it's perfect, and the playing is wonderful. I really enjoyed it, thank you!

I so wish Rodrigo himself and my father, who died in January at the age of 94 and who loved & struggled with this work for decades, had heard this performance & arrangement. It just works, arguably better than the original, which I must admit I was beginning to get tired of. Fantastic. More please - maybe the Fantasía?

I can’t stop watching this! If you go back to all the traditional performances, especially Pepe’s and Paco’s, as spiritual as they are, this is something else! In the electric guitar world Jeff Beck spent 50+ years of his life creating and perfecting a tone and sound no one else could mimic .. and as Beck aged, he took songs such as the Beatles “a day in the life” and he reinvented the melody.. an orchestra in his hands..the phrasing… tone… every emotion brought out and the listener realizes after listening they smiled, cried, studied, got lost in thought and at times mesmerized by the talent…I feel Marcin Dylla does the same in the acoustic world… this is the most innovative brilliant spiritual experience I’ve ever experienced from listening to a classical piece. As a kid Segovia was it then Bream and of course Sabicas and Paco. But none have the touch Dylla has. And in this piece you can observe subtle nuances such as when she’s playing those chime like notes Dylla does a few then winks at her… like Beck to Tal… this has respectfully put the classical guitar world on notice tradition can be changed and made as good or better…

What a phenomenal arrangement of a legendary guitar work. Can't imagine better performers for this performance of the Concierto de Aranjuez. I can't wait to watch and listen to more arrangements from these absolutely phenomenal artists. Maybe we'll see more in the future? Concierto para una fiesta? Tedesco? Beautiful & virtuosic playing around: soloist & accompaniment. Incredible orchestral arrangement for two guitars. Such great choices in timbre too. The blending amongst soloist and accompaniment is sweeter than guitar & small orchestra.

I have listened to this again, this time on good quality sound & screen and I think it's even better than I first thought. The clarity of the playing and recording is truly 1st class, the musicianship and technique is impeccable . Finally, I have found a recording & arrangement that makes me fall back in love with the work again, after hearing too many orchestral versions. Please, make many more of these arrangements & recordings - and come to Scotland!

I don't even know what to say, my favorite instrument playing my favorite concerto. Congratulations, Dariusz Kupinskim, on the excellent arrangement for 3 guitars. I'm amazed. I'm in love with this concert. But forgive me because I'm a perfectionist. So, I would say that in the second movement there could have been more care in respecting the duration of the notes, longer notes and rests. It's an adage, in my opinion it must be more sleepy like a hot afternoon in Spain. Less anxiety, soloist, 10:32 - 12:26 The first movement is perfect as is the third. ❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 .

ギター三重奏のアランフェス、初めて聴きました。名デュオとソリストの共演、最近よく目にしますが、本日は勉強になりました。ロドリーゴが聴いたらどんな反応示したろうか、と想像するのも楽しかったです。イングリッシュホルンのところ、ギターでどう響くのかとても興味深いところでありました。とても自然に聴けました。
