I was born in Santo Domingo, this song brings me to tears thinking of my neighborhood and family when I was young. Running around barefooted, random rolling blackouts, taking cold baths outside it would get so hot. Not the nicest of areas in DR but it's home to me.
A lot of people can play this song quite easily. Their other songs are generally a lot harder, but many can still play them. However it's the way rodrigo and gabriela play that makes it so amazing, and yes you're absolutely right, their songwriting is incredible.
It´s something crazy that there are a lot more comments of people that spoke english than spanish-speakers... specially when the guitarrist Rodrigo and Gabriela are mexicans
For some reason, I've got 1:53 through 2:04 stuck in my head. But if course, that isn't a bad thing. There's something strangely depressing, yet kick ass about that part.
@smokebomb213 Lmao, you clearly misunderstood. By saying 'who ever', I'm simply meaning I don't know them personally, and am unfamiliar with their products. So quick to judge, but thanks for the amusement. ^^
@hellspartan001 claro k no dijo ellos demuestran k una guitarra no necesita distor para ser poderosa musicos virtuosos mexicano y betornillo dice chale olallo este podcast no m gusto xD
You sir are right. this piece(logos) from a technical point of view is nothing amazing, both hand movements arent really difficult. on the other hand, anyone can criticize, but few play. even less can make *real* money from guitar playing
