Roebourne Aboriginal History Western Australia - Yindjibarndi, Ngarluma, Banyjima, Gurrama people. Cultural Alert: Many paricipants now deceased. Exile And The Kingdom Part 2 of 2.
What a lovely film i really enjoyed it i have lived in Roebouurne most of my life all my children went to Roebourne school,It was a great town but sadly the council have left it for dead they don't care they only look after Karratha. Roebourne could be made into a lovely tourist town. This council as no idea for Roebourne. The people that lived here years ago Brought the town alive and made Karratha what it is today.I knew most of the people in the film but sadly lots of them passed away.
Roger Solomon - thank you from the bottom of my heart for telling this tragic, BUT massively courageous story, in a way that makes it clearly understood. Feel so proud to say l worked with many of these beautiful people, but I so wish l had met you during my 8 yrs in Roebourne. RIP Roger.
OMG - my heart is breaking, l am crying, because of how this doco is revealing the absolute, and total lack of respect, and the complete ignorance both our Gov'ts have had for these beautiful people, incident after incident, decade after decade. Their strength to survive it all, is nothing less than miraculous.
