In your tear down can you confirm whether there’s a small fan present somewhere? I’m sure I can hear something from up very close, and others have said the same, but if it’s there it’s super quiet.
Decently brighter thsn LG27GR95QE-B. However, no usb type-c power delivery/dp alt mode, no KVM switch, matte screen coating amd only HDMI 2.0 are still glaring omissions or subjective dealbreakers.
The matte coating is the same as the LG 27GR95QE-B. That said, it is actually pretty good compared to most matte displays. I recommend checking it out yourself if possible. I agree about the HDMI 2.0, however. That is a dealbreaker if you are a console gamer, imo.

is it possible to create a custom resolution in the 4:3 ratio at full frequency, example 1920x1440 or do we have the same problem as with the pg27aqn ?
Corsair will be releasing their 240hz oled monitor, with US preorders open for May. That corsair oled monitor has 3 years burn in and dead pixel free warranty. Does Asus have any burn in warranty at all?
Did Corsair say exactly "burn-in coverage" tho? It only says "BURN IN PROTECTION", so could they just mean "this monitor has features that prolong the monitor's life"
@@rocky258258 I bought that Corsair monitor and returned it within 48 hours. The whites turned to gray when going from windowed to Fullscreen mode. It was too dim.
@@Thomas-fk6ep The corsair one is so fkin dimm which can't be used LUL, go for the ASUS one. I bought the LG one as well but asus win hands down. It has a lot more settings for you to adjust. SO much better than the LG.
matte coating is always super bad compared to a glossy one. Oleds must be glossy for the top notch contrast and picture quality. It is just like to look on a fresh printed high quality magazine. 0 reasons to go matte.
@@Kinichi04 I don't care about the brightness too much, lower brightness should at least reduce the risk of burn-in. Btw do you know if the hdmi 2.0 would at least support 1440p+120hz+HDR from a PS5? Apparently it can do 1440p+240hz+HDR from a PC over the included DP 1.4a cable, but I'm wondering if connecting a PS5 would work fine too.
@@Kinichi04 Thanks a lot for the info. Honestly I'm ok with no VRR over HDMI because I intend to mainly use it for PC. If I eventually use it with PS5 and only miss out on VRR then it's not a big deal for me.
