I have tried the Keris Wireless Aimpoint myself and have to say it's a really good mouse. Although heavier than the G Pro X Superlight that I have been using for close to 2 years, the weight is negligible at least to me. The USB-C charging and shape makes it a compelling choice. Finally seeing some really great mice from ROG. And awesome job on the video, keep up the good work!
@@abhidan2 Even if it had, you got two spare switches easily swapable when you buy this mouse. And you can Omron switches which are the best and most durable ones.
@@Ilestun yeah I know about that, bought it a week ago. Just wanted to know their experience with those rog/omron switches as they have used this mouse for more than 2 yrs now. All my prev Logitech mouse have developed that issue within first 2 years.
Hi! I want to buy this mouse rn. May I ask how's this mouse doing now? any rattling or scroll wheel wobbling? I'm torn between this Keris Aimpoint and Harpe ace :(
@@noisenoys I honestly don't like the armoury crate software, it's laggy and buggy but I just setup the mouse once and it's done. The only hassle now is that when there's a new update
@@itssamueltan oh so you install the armoury crate, setup the mouse, uninstall, repeat? I read the software has running in the task manager even you dont open it. So many of them setup the mouse and uninstall the software.
Does your hand hurt when using such agressive claw grip? Because this is my problem I'm trying to solve with the new mouse. I noticed that Logitech g pro x super light gives me crams almost instantly, and after some testing I realized it simply pushes my palm higher, into uncomfortable position. Deathadder v3 doesn't have such issues but OH MY GOD THE BUTTONS!!!! pretravel was so bad I returned it the next day. Will now return gpxs. I'm thinking of getting Asus next, as it has ergo shape, is narrow (I approve!), not too tall (which is good, for my grip) and buttons seem to have very little pretravel (and it's easy to take apart, change switches, add some tape to reduce pretravel). Seems perfect on paper, but shape is the big unknown for me. Anyways, thanks for the review!
First off welcome! And to be honest, after the 3 hour mark from straight gaming it does start to strain a little bit. But usually I also stop gaming after 3 hours so it isn't such a big issue for me. It only becomes a problem when I'm editing videos/photos but I switch over to the MX3 for editing stuff.
@@itssamueltanHello. Is it possible to change the delay time for pressing the main buttons? When installing optical switches, I would like to keep the delay to a minimum. otherwise, why do we need support for optical switches?
@@itssamueltan pooling rate will give the same result for mechanical and optical switches. Mechanical switches simply require a delay to operate. It is needed to avoid false clicks. In optical switches, this delay is not needed due to the fact that it works differently. And because of this, they don’t have a double click. If you look at mice with optical switches, you will notice that they initially do not have this delay. There is also a delay here, since mechanical switches are installed. It's not that critical. It’s just that if this delay cannot be reduced, then there is little point in installing optical switches
The absence of this setting does not make the mouse bad. I'm just wondering how useful this function will be for me. After all, I can re-solder the switches myself, but I cannot change the software and PCB layout to use optical switches. In this case, I will most likely lean towards Rog harpe ace. There is no hot swap, but the weight is lower. Thank you very much for your answers, they help make a choice
@@itssamueltan it starts installing till aprox 90% of the loading bar and stops. Once it showed some internet connection problem. Googled everywhere for an answer and found only ppl saying armoury is broken and shitty
@@itssamueltan oh I see. Was eye-ing the keris but it's not being sold at the moment here. Might as well look for another mouse. Can you recommend one?
@@itssamueltan I was actually looking at pulsar X2 mini, Fantech Aria, Lamzu Atlantis, and the viper ultimate. Which one do you think is a "bang fro the buck"?
