It would be a violation of the law. A single step in that direction would eventually cause that individual to become weak and corrupt. The beating may prevent that turning. I’m not joking.
With the Horus Heresy they shaped Rogal Dorn from a bland Character to a Hero worth of Legends and quite frankly Terra would have fallen without him. Tanks GW and all Authors for that.
Vulkan could probably pick it up, but there’s a big difference between lifting something and being able to use it effectively. I can lift a Zweihander one handed, but let me tell you - the one person I’ve met in my life strong enough to actually use one single handed effectively was flat terrifying. I definitely can’t do that.
I'm hoping we get superanchors to feature somewhere as the voice of The Dorn. Its insane how TTS just imprinted so many expectations in my head for 40k
@@DRKrust492no it’s not: there’s a big difference between being able to lift something and being able to effectively use it. Sure, the other Primarchs could probably lift it one handed, but Dorn is the only one who can use it as it was meant to be used; everyone else would just sort of flail it around like a club, which while effective, isn’t how you’re supposed to wield a sword.
If i have one opinion in 40k that drives people crazy, its that Rogal is my favorite loyalist primarch. Its because of one line in Praetorian of Dorn......."try me."
I initially had Perturabo as favourite primarch, but since I've seen a random comment calling Perty a beta male and dorn an alpha male, I can't help but favour dorn
I encourage you to look into the largely suspect wolf hierarchy studies this notion comes from and how it has been refuted and proven wrong over the last several years and then decide whether or not you’d like to revise not only your comment but also your ideals
Even for all his flaws Rogal is still my favorite primarch, I think it has to do with what my "ideal" version of myself would be and how closely he encapsulates those things. Also, the memes we can't forget the absolutely fantastic memes that surround him as well as his legion and their "rivals" 😂
I'm confused. I thought the emperor and the primarchs couldn't die or, if they did, they are just reborn again? Was i misinformed, or am i ignorant as to additional parts of the lore that would explain Dorn "dying"?
In the OG lore, the sons of the emperor where never designed to be immortal, only really Vulkan has some eternal healing properties The emperor himself is an eternal, a being capable of immortality, but can be destroyed, however he is also a warp entity of powerful psychic power and could likely manifest in the warp, but whatever is left of his power is being used as a battery to light the beacon of warp travel for the imperium known as the Astronomican
@@aprince1250 GW have left it open to keep fans guessing if they’ll come back. Sanginius the Angel died at Horus’s hand, Ferrus Manus was killed by Fulgrim who ascended to demon hood, after the Horus heresy, Angron, Magnus, porterabo and Mortarion also ascended to becoming demons Guilliman returned from being in stasis from recovering from a mortal wound thanks to Yvraine, Lionel was in stasis asleep and has woken up Vulkan is somewhat immortal and, somewhere, after being essentially nearing being atomised and tortured, Dorn was supposedly lost, but is in some hellscape Khorn dream apparently recently, Leman is in the warp Off the top of my head
@@thomasace2547 Thanks for the reply. I'm still really new to the 40k universe lore so getting additional feedback like yours is greatly appreciated to try and make sense of everything.
The Primarchs can die, except for Vulkan, who is a perpetual(immortal) like his father, meaning the Emperor cannot die _permanently._ He and Vulkan are capable of regenerating from nearly any wound, and if they do ‘die,’ they just come back in new bodies that look exactly like their old ones.
I respect the lore but the death of Dorn is kinda odd, it is a 40k so odd jokes are to be expected but just doesn't make sense Primarch who is like a demigod to be killed by random mob ot chaos cultists, the dude survived fighting though the WHOLE Vengeful Spirit and cut his way to the deck to fight Horus after all... I think they made it like that just in case they want to bring him back to the scene on later date or it's just random stupidity 😅
I think that part of the lore was written before the Primarchs were boosted to the level they're currently at, so they're kinda stuck with it. But I think they changed it so that Dorn is "missing" instead of "dead".
His name should have been Robot Boring, not Rogal Dorn. Apparently the chaos gods separated his personality from his body when they scattered his pod in the warp.
Just came here to mention that the thumbnail of Rogal Dorn looks like a roided up Donald Trump, i cant unsee it now y'all can share my misery, you're welcome...
Rogal was broken by the Emperor's fall. He fell for Perturabo's trap (Iron Cage) and wasted the lives of his marines, then he threw his life away on an empty gesture (Sword of Sacrilege). I'd prefer he stay dead. He'll be angsty and do more foolish things if he returns.
Imagine one single content creator having the balls to Make a Vulkan video😂😂😂😂. The strongest of his brothers, immortal, inventor of weapons so powerful they had to destroy them so horus dis nt get them. Resurrected by the emperor and charged with protecting him during the siege of terra… omfg. What we need is another dorn video totally. 😂😂😂😂
