The winningest coach in NCAA Volleyball history, Roger Gorayeb joins Denden and Anton for Episode 16 of Volleyball DNA. Coach Roger candidly speaks about how he started his coaching career at the age of 23 while still being a student at San Sebastian College-Recoletos in 1984. The fiery mentor also shares some of his most memorable recruitment stories including those of Gretchen Ho, Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado in an effort to strengthen the Ateneo Lady Eagles' bid for a championship in the UAAP. So many eye-opening stories told by a man who dedicated his life to game and the players that he loves.

honestly, yung ibang guests dito is hindi ko inaidolize (i idolize them but not like die-hard-fan) pero them, anton and denden being host gives me chill. no dull moments for these two. MORE POWER!! 🥳

I finally got the chance to watch this episode. Coach Ger, you were the first coach in the collegiate team that I idolized and I'm so happy that through the years u never changed. U were one of the reasons I became a fan of ALE and forever I will. Like what you've said it should be thick and thin win or lose you should stay with the team. Lodi coach!

Ang ganda ng interview na ito. Si Coach Roger ay parang yung tatay mo na kausap mo sa terrace ng bahay nyo over coffee. Den and Anton do not even interrupt kasi Coach Roger's stories make the conversation enough already. Kudos!

Kalahating araw dapat ibigay kay coach,😂😂 ang dami kwento sa buhay si coach roger ❤ marami nmn siguro noon gusto mag laro sa ATENEO kaya lang di kaya ang fees kaya dahil kay coach super blessed ang thankful ang ateneo WV dahil sa kanya nakapagbigay scolarship ang school at naging reason kung bakit and dami na din gusto mag ATENEO.. SANA ALL ganon ang mindset at vocal pag dating Philippine VOLLEYBALL.. Godbless and goodhealth always coach.

I've been seeing Coach Roger at San Sebastian when I was still a student . Sobrang strikto nya sa mga players the reason why the players are really performing well in NCAA. They are not using the elevator instead the players are using the stairs going to the gym. The gym is located in the 5th floor, so grabeng warm up for the players. I even saw how Latigay and Devanadera played even Gorostiza na talagang super lakas with matching power spikes. Thanks to Coach Roger Gorayeb.
