Maybelle was listening to a lot of Mexican music when she wrote this song. They were playing live on Border Radio. She loved listening to the Mexican guys playing guitar.

This guy is my new hero. I have been wanting to learn this song forever and have been unable to find any lessons which show you how to play it. I finally found the tab online and it turns out that two measures contain six beats instead of four. In other words, six quarter notes in the measure instead of four. This must be why it sounds so simple but so hard to follow. I'll keep listening and maybe get it one day. Thanks Roger
I don't believe I've seen anyone play with a capo on the 9th fret before. I will have to figure out what key that is. If you're playing in "C" on the 9th fret then it's an "A", but if you're playing in "G" on the 9th, it's an "E" you're singing in. I can't see clearly where your fingers are situated on the fretboard. Sounds great regardless folks!
