@@jadghanem4734: Yep, the effect says “place this card face up in your spell and trap card zone as a continuous trap.” That also means that it’s a quick effect too.
Fun fact: if you blackout first without waiting for Increase, Increase can tribute the other targeted monster and special summon itself without getting destroyed.
@@watashielshaeddo5454: Exactly because since it’s now treated as a monster and not a trap, it is treated as an entirely new card. Same thing happened when my opponent targeted Increase with Unicorn.
It's a floodgate to the fullest and the reason it is banned In the Tcg and ocg but not in master duel is because you do not get the info on the opponents deck until they start playing the game. Best of 3 is makes Protos overpowered but best of 1 makes it A bit more balanced.
Honestly if Tears are allowed to keep Kit and the Ishizus (Kekbek at 2 even) then Swordsoul better keep that Protos check against them. Fight cancer with cancer
@@Gurkan790 no matter how anyone tries to spin it, having a searchable floodgate is not ok whether it is lab or swordsoul. Having an extender that can turn into full combo on turn zero is a bit more not ok, but they just need to ban the millers and shufflers and boom you get a deck that is somewhat fair, and considering kash is on the horizon tear is already going to have a bad time

@@calem1029yeah when i used to run swordsoul i teched in runick for those synchros being easier and for more control during my opponents turn and that easier banish for chengying is never bad

@@mohammedjuha925 Konami wont touch Tear anymore since Kash is around the corner plus OCG Konami failed anyway to cripple Tear so they prob gave directly up on that in MD.

36:40 the reason why he didn't negate because he was saving it for emergence, negate Pot of D on monster heavy deck is not a good idea and almost everyone play TTT so that could be a reason like dkayed said too.
lol Yeah, same reason I never click on "Master 1" deck lists. Once players get to Master 1 people just play rogue stuff and call it master 1, they sure as hell aint climbing with their "Master 1" deck.
The only acceptable action needed for maxx c is a outright ban or at least a limit to 1, in which case it wouldnt even be played at that point since it would be outed easliy. the card is just bad and the usage rates for it show that. I think last I checked it was like 80%+ used in most decks.
The fact that the tear player played so poorly against the black wing and still won one of the games overwhelmingly shows how busted tear still is and how ost desperately needs to be taken down a good few more pegs. Idc if they’re waiting to use Kashtira as the tear nerf, this is a bo1 game and people have been leaving and trying to sell a new tier 0 to counter the old tier 0 is not gonna work out well for the game
