A ring of aggravate monster is cursed. Put one on your finger and you can not take it off until you read a scroll of remove curse. As long as you are wearing the ring all monsters will actively seek you out.
Once aggravated, the monsters will not stop hunting you just because you took the ring off again. You must kill them all, leave the level or die.
So, obviously the ring of aggravate monster is the worst ring in the game. Right?
