I had this video scheduled, woke up, and they just nerfed rogue pretty hard. Changes: - Rogue's Creep now has a narrow hearing range. - Rogue's Stealth now reveals his silhouette when moving.
This isn’t going to change ambush rogue. The good players won’t take hide anymore and the bad players will still sit in a corner or at a door not moving all game. It will make it slightly harder for them to ambush, but it won’t stop it. Rogue needs a new play style other than ambush or hand crossbow.
The irony being, he was doing the same thing. Though to be fair, it's a rogue. How else are you going to play other than ambushing? maybe not a DOOR but still
5:05 I love that you walk into a popular rogue room and call it a mistake. Most people would walk in there and get 1 shot by a rogue and be pissed about the game, not a misplay. (I'm one of those people lol)
You cant hide because of the Frame Drop bug. If you're near enough to someone and you scan the walls, if you get frame drops looking in a direction someone is there.
The funniest part of the awful players who choose to play rogue like this is when you extract early and spectate who is left in the dungeon. Most of the time, it's a bunch of rogues holding CTRL and barely moving back and forth. Riveting gameplay to say the least.
Personally I'm glad the class got nerfed, since genuinely at times there was no counter play to landmine rogue if you don't have a play style catered to countering it

rogue nerfs WOMP WOMP people always act like changes in this game are permanent. rogue plagued the game last few weeks now we can play with a little less rogues while they try to balance again. let them cook. fuck rogues also.
The whole rogue class needs a re-design. The most recent patch changes just solidifies that Ironmace have no idea what to do with the class and are just shotgun blasting out changes with a blindfold hoping something sticks.
I dont have the full game, I just run druid and get out of the ice map and throw drums and torches at players while acting like a ghost, pretty fun lmao
Yeah they definitely needed the nerf 😂 I was minding my own business one match while a rogue was right behind me stealing my stuff. No sound or indication that I was being stolen from. Completely undetectable. I only caught him by accident when his invisibility ran out
i appreciate D&Der as a goblin simulator. people play so hostile and selfish, avoiding opportunities to escape so they can kill people whose loot they can't even carry
everywhere i look it says rogues are C tier garbage of a class yet when i play they're insanely OP, slapping buffed barbs and fighters around and just looting everything while avoiding pve

Because he was stacking STR which gives HP as-well. A lot of rogues don't stack as much STR as he did. He got very lucky that crayon eating W-key class didn't 1 / 2 shot him.
i think the rogue issue is fixed if creep is just taken out the game entirely, invisibility is one thing in this game but not being able to hear someone for as long as they crouch is so much worse, haven’t tested with the new update tho
I test it and is not very good😅 You can hear it but only if you are super focus or in silence to hear it and even that the rogue will ALWAYS hear you first and he could just stand still and wait until you are distracted by a mob,looting,etc... and rush. They need make the crouch walk more louder😅
The silhouette part is just bad u can just see the person with the silhouette like they arnt even invisible creep was only good for goblin caves bc there arnt many mobs u cant creep around when u have to kill the mobs i dont even use the perk i find it almost useless but good chages should of also lowered the sound of doors and chests tho with the nerf to make it more of ur trying to be quiet then to just hold ctrl and u make no noise
I feel like ambush is the biggest problem with rogue rn. Bc it essentially gives people who are attacked no time to react as over 75% of their health dissappears without even knowing what’s happening.
My opinion from a new player and my first thing I picked was Rogue for the jump scares and I I win I win , I don't really take good gear since it's for fun Seems ez to beat one just keep spacing and swing if the rogue is to close block and strike fir hit shots they drop pretty quick in my opinion 🤔 🤷 As a fighter beat one just by swinging randomly if i was the rogue and got him Really experience what it takes and complaining just makes you weak 🤔
I main barb/fighter and it really hurts when i say ive been abusing the rogue a little. just let me W key at someone again instead of crawling around the map like a scummy little rat :( thank god they nerfed creep and stealth we can play the game again boys.
4:55 damn i think you die there if the barb played that ANY better (not getting hit 3 times for free at the start, and not getting hit by the goblin). gonna be interesting to see if the nerfs are impactful at all
he dies to barb and fighter, he almost died to a budget kit barb having first 3 stabs and he would've died to any fighter with anything above poor grade armor rogue's high risk but no one wants to admit it. also u can play however u want i've played rogue since playtest 2 and don't run creep or stealth, this dude is choosing to play in a boring way and complaining about it while he does it kinda weirdge
dont quite get all the hate for rogue... you cant fight a fighter/barb/cleric in a straight face to face ...if you arent stealth attacking then youre pretty much useless , you have no defense at all so anything that catches you out in the open will two tap you. The only interesting skills they have outside stealth is the trap/lockpick skill , and pickpocket , and those arent really worth taking over damage perks and they have a pretty limited weapon selection. might as well just remove the class and just have fighters and wizards only.
This is kinda the problem with dark and darker, rouge gets a buff *OMG ROUGE NEEDS A NERF* rouge gets a nerf *OMG ROUGE NEEDS A BUFF* its this endless cycle where when it's buffed new players have fun but when it's nerfed only the best players can really play the class at full potential and even then I've seen the best players have to do so much just to secure a kill, so I'm not really sure what the solution to this is
I hate the rogue class in games. Ive always thought they shouldnt be a class in any game. It encourages lazy scummy gameplay. Never been a fan but too each their own I guess.
