To answer your question about some of the characters at Gambit’s funeral, they were members of his guild, The Thieves, to which he was born into (Nightcrawler referenced that in his eulogy). The woman with the blonde curls was Gambit’s wife, Bella Donna.

The funny part is, in the Comics, Cyclops actually ends up with Emma Frost and she joins the Xmen for awhile. Cyclops goes pretty dark, but it was a great story line.

To answer the beef between Rogue and Captain America: With the exception of Spider-Man, anyone that cameos in X-Men is usually a jerk. Be it mutant prejudice or the fact that the X-Men is a privately funded taskforce, they always get it from other heroes. Cap and Rogue got a history because Rogue used to be an Avenger's villain and also "killed" Ms Marvel. Captain America also has a history of being seen not doing anything for mutants which is why Cyclops despises every Captain America, especially Steve Rogers. Steve Rogers hates Cyclops because he doesn't like his methods of leadership, especially later when Cyclops goes off. Cap and Cyclops' rivalry is on sight at that point. They could have to work together for a common goal, but once the day is saved, they're throwing hands.
