I really like it and what they add in 2.0 is cool. Agree that if it was a bit shorter it would be better. But what I really think we need is another end game mode with clear drops rewards that resets at least once at month, something like Honkai would be fine.

- Not a guide. - Spends 85% of the video explaining how the game mode works. On a serious note: I do like the game mode. It gives a reason to play the game and thats fine. Completing up until the last difficulty is entertaining and can be played with anything you want. The runs are NOT as long as Jaka implied, but I understand they dont last give minutes. I like it. I hope it keeps being updated and improved. I cleared all difficulties for the funzies.

honestly if you have windsong you can clear this mode so easily

I like the game mode because it gives me a place to actually use my characters and play the game. Runs could be shorter, but you can also just stop and continue later.

i liked it i unlocked lorelei in 3 runs too, but i would like it to get clear drops like any other gacha and reseted monthly

i love it because i had more stuff to do in reverse XD I finish all the content very easy this was a event to try new characters for me and have more fun :)

I'm enjoying the gamemode so far. I agree it's a bit long but I also agree it shouldn't be changed. I'm pretty sure you can clear 20 f2p. I've cleared up to 17 pretty easily.

Yeah, i like the concept and everything, also its not hard to finish even the hard stages. But it got a bit repetitive after a couple runs plus one run took me an hour or so each time. So after i got Lorelei im a bit lazy and unmotivated to continue playing😅

I'm currently on Fortissimo VII with A Knight/Ezra/Avgust/Oliver Fog and 4 random aid characters. This gamemode's difficulty is pretty manageable if you really understand what Catalyst and Artefact works then you can run anything you want even it's not meta character.

even for f2p with builded characters difficulty 20 i quite easy to clear

Rogue-like is awesome. I've cleared it for both endings and I just need 2 more achievements. Yeah, it is a bit long, but very fun. I'm on 12th difficulty rn, all the branches are maxed. If the artefacts are good - piece of cake. If not, well, I'm cooked. So it is somewhat rng dependent. I assume it is possible to clear 20th, but you would need best artefacts.

Im just using Ritual Dager, and feed the Staff that give 3% dmg evertime it "eat" common artifact and Sickle weapon, that add damage with each weapon nearby it reach like ridiculus dmg like 200-300k dmg per spell or smth

I LOVE the rogue like! It’s addicting, even after getting all the rewards Can’t wait for new iterations and, hopefully, more rewards No clue what will happen in 2.0, but I hope all the buffs will reset, so there’s something to work for again

For me 19/20 started to get challenging - if you get unlucky you can just get shutdown early on. You want to know what relics are good at that point. I played tons of this it's really fun :D Runs are long yes - but this is actually comparable to a slay the spire run so I think it's fine. I actually play even without rewards so for me it's a success :D I finished three 20 runs so far 2x Lucy and 1x Windsong - Windsong felt alot easier.

Arknights roguelike is way longer at 5 stages and side stages to make it longer. I would like reverse 1999 roguelike to be just as long but that's just me.

I enjoy this a lot it's just fun experimenting team comps with different kinds of artifacts. Hope they can update it frequently like more combi of artifacts. Overall it's a fun adventure added for an end game content.

i like it, but each run is bit too long, and i ended on 10 just to farm mats, not to make a challenge, im a casual chill player

I think the way supports work could be better. Just give a passive buff or something not their cards.

I agree that the prior version was too long and somewhat obtuse, but it was enjoyable otherwise. I haven't played the new version in this patch yet. As someone who plays other games, I tend to prefer games that aren't too grindy and time-consuming. Also, a new mode takes extra time to learn particularly if it is important to make the right choices in order to clear. Also, when they drop multiple new things in a patch, people just aren't going to get to playing it right away. I did clear all of the new "Three Doors" and I think that was good.

I think you can drop the roguelike and pick it up, whenever you want, at another time. I don't think it would take too long considering that. In fact, quite the opposite. I wouldn't mind if it were 9 stages, even if it takes a few days to complete each round.

It's good it's not to hard but it take too much time for me, but the reward are not very good so it's okay

I tapped out at 15 fortissimo V. I received all the items, so I don't think I will go further. It takes far too long to complete.

11 is the sweet spot

I love roguelikes and have been playing it a ton. I just cleared the level 20, and it's a bit challenging, especially boss fights (they hit REALLY hard), but I'm a pretty low spender in this game with crazy good luck, and Lucy was the first char I really went "all in" on, even spent to get her to P5 with a maxed Psycube etc. I've never gone for portrays on banner chars. She made this.. much easier lol. I love the roguelike in HSR too, I like that there's a game mode that I can play just for the sake of playing, not tied to "energy". I like testing new chars or different combos of chars, and these kind of things are great for that. Could there be some improvement or shift? Sure, roguelikes get stale without any innovation, HSR has done well enough with that (different modes every few patches kinda thing). So I'm looking forward to more content like this! Edit: I used Lorelei in this game mode up to difficulty 18 and she's great. I had to swap to a healer and shielder or 2 healers for last 2 difficulties and had to switch things up a bit to survive. Edit2: I think the length is fine because you do NOT have to finish the run once you start.. you can leave and come back at anytime and not lose progress, so you really don't have to push it.

Everything is tailored for lucy in my opinion, i do like them giving away a unit in the game

I hated the first version but this one I love it, I can use the first levels to use whoever I want without worrying about spending materials

I really like the new game mode and you can just play a section and then come back :P the size is good for me but everyone has its opinions

Roguelike drained my soul

For me it is boring, you have only 2 endings and when you watch both you just repeat the same battles over and over again. The others tiles dosen't do much to make the mode more intresting, just give you item or give you some fights to do, sometime you lose some hp or that stimulus. I now doing this only for rewards on lower dificulty mostly on auto because from run to run not much changes. One run is long and repetitive second ending for me is propably based on rng so mostly you play with the first ed. If in the mode you could meet with important characters and get some intresting lore propably it could be worth to farm, but now i don't see the point to repeat this over and over when i get rewards. But it's gacha game so minigames in all gacha are bad most of the time and this is a good try to do something fun. I don't know if that buff system with assisting characters is neded when you get so many items but you can at least have fun with some weird plays.

Complete 20, not that hard. Best catalysts are Protean Pendulum and Wisdom of Unison, in my opinion. Used, mostly, Lucy, Jiu, 37 and Vila or Lucy, 37, Vila and Tooth Fairy.

I dont see how this is a rougelike cuz it is more of a rougelite cuz the upgrades and branching paths that u can plan out in which rougelikes does not have, in a sense that it helps you to alleviate the common breakpoint. I dont see any problem with the rougelite session going through more than 1 hour since thats a general amount of time sink to play a rougelite/rougelike session, its more likely the attention span and distorted troupe of gacha rougelite. Although, my opinion on the current gacha rougelite sours any interest to play this when i have free time to experiment different ways of running a session and more so finding cheese strats on yt for an obligatory clear for the sake of the rewards, i still think the prev one has better gameplay but can retain the qop made on the current one since it still allows variety of team comps instead of relying on cheese strat to breeze through content.

I hate roguelikes with a passion so I'm just gonna skip this game mode

Too long its not a problem especially in roguelike mode its just more like you problem not the game/mode problem you can literally pause the run and continue whenever you can
