Rogues Saw New Buffs In War Within Beta! Could This Class Still Be Saved? 

Blizzard has a identity crisis with rogue. The class is meant to play around sneaky stealth burst. So glass canon is the way to go. But blizzard is afraid that people get mad if rogue can oneshot to eazy.

It's nice that they finally noticed that rogue exists, but it's going to require much more than number tweaking to make the specs shine. Especially subtlety, which is in a very messy state rn.

For anyone that plays assassination rogue, don’t get too excited. Only about 1 or 2 changes to deathstalker actually benefit us in any type of way. There are still some glaring synergy issues with Deathstalker.

Here's a crazy idea: I wouldn't mind Outlaw becoming a sort of glass-cannon tank build for the class. I know people joke about Rogues becoming tanks somehow in Season of Discovery, but Outlaw using stealth only as a means as a proc for other toe-to-toe abilities is something I could get behind.

they neeed way way way more attention. my issue is the hero specs, not the damage of the class. no hero spec looks interesting, in comparison with every other class's hero spec out there

Its crazy to me that the expansion is literally 4 weeks away and we are talking about Capstone abilities of their biggest new feature literally being a downgrade to your class. HOW got this passed 'quality' control or anything? At the end of the day they can change the numbers as much as they want, nobody gets exited for a class that has no changes besides "look number 5% bigger now"

Its why im rolling fire mage for the first time since tbc....Rogues hero talents are the worst in the game.

I just personally want my sinister strike to hit harder

Am I the only one wondering why is Blade flurry cap at 7 targets? Is death & decay cap? blizzard ? Flames strike? and so on and so on no? then why cap blade flurry which is literally our only AoE.

It would make more sense to have it replace Killing Spree being an animation locked talent instead of having us use two animation locked talents basically on cooldown. I still think they should rework it entirely though

That’s hilarious that Blizzard is forcing people to talent into that garbage capstone. I had suggested for awhile that rogue players should just not talent into Coup De Grace, that was what I was planning to do But leave it to Blizzard to say “You not going to undermine our hard work even though we are actively making your gameplay worse. You aren’t getting away that easy.” So now we get to play the total spec RNG where if you get 3 heads in a row, you just won’t use your finishers anymore so you can keep that 30% damage buff uptime. You’re awesome, Blizzard. Don’t ever change

Rogue needs the defibrillators.

Still needs quite a bit of work. Garrote should apply Death Stalkers Mark. Not ambush. Not a fan of Outlaw playing around stealth windows for the burst that you are hoping RNG gives all the resets for big burst. That is what sub spec is for. Bring back a sinister strike build. Not a fan of Fatebound at all. Why have more RNG on top of the RNG that Roll the Bones already brings and the hope of resets in stealth windows. I would like to see assassination shift some of the damage from bleeds to the primary attacks with Mutilate/Envenom. This would make PVP feel less like Mythic+. The fact that fan of knives may end up being in the single target rotation in Death Stalker is not good at all. Without a Raid Buff all we bring is damage. Being melee we have to dodge much more than ranged which breaks our ability to damage. Need More Damage.

In general, everyone needs to realize that things will not be balanced by the time this releases Season 1 will be chaos and just an extended beta on the live servers. Simply accept that and mentally prepare cause ppl are going to flip their lids since they didnt recognize the reality

Sad [Corrupt the blood] (Deathstalker talent) still bugs, every time it deals damage it breaks the stealth; this hero talent is unplayable for PvP. :(

first expansion I prob will not be a rogue will level it because its my oldest main but meh just seems meh

Rogues have never had an xpac where they haven't been good.

i dont think raw damage for rogues is enough they need more bag of tricks, things in my opinion
