Wait a minute, only rice husk? The mother plant came out of dark soil. 1: So why now rice husk only? 2: And where does the plant gets its nutrition from. 3: How long do you leave the plants in the waterbucket. For ever or just a couple of hours? 4: Anyone who tried this with succes?
Sure does most philodendrons are propagated like this so maybe it'll work on prince of orange too, but it's up to you, also a pro tip if you divide a philodendron do not water for atleast 2-3 days and let it callous so that it will not rot. (during the 2-3 days of callousing, misting on leaves are fine but not watering.)
It's better to mix a carbonized rice hull and ordinary rice hull for me, because carbonized rice produced slightly acidity to soil and ordinary rice hull retains moisture.
