In this case study, a 6-axis robot with vision assistance is used for loading and unloading ball valve processing machines. The ROKAE robot uses its vision system to identify and grip the rough material of ball valves, ensuring accurate loading onto the waterwheel. This operation runs continuously for 24 hours a day.
By using the ROKAE robot, the need for 3 workers is eliminated, and each ball valve can be processed in just 8 seconds. This allows the processing machine to produce 10,000 products per day.
Remarkably, the equipment has been functioning flawlessly at the customer's location for a period of 4 years.
