Rokeby used to be the Guest House for the Methodist Church of India. In my youth, I remember organizing the Library cabinet in the common sitting room. The Chef was awesome. Mrs Smythe, the Pastor's wife was a wonderful, loving host. Beautiful Landour! We used to pronounce it "Landaar".

Why to stay in expensive hotels .. If you have come to explore nature.... Stay in cheapest ones...at end one cozy bed to sleep needed. After your whole day trip... Or spend money and explore hotel only😝
Minimum charges in this hotel is 8000/- per night. How many of us can afford it? I can not. It is more that one way air flight ticket from mumbai to dehradun.
Great video!!! Just refreshed my memory of visiting Landour this summer. Planning to stay again to join Urdu reading course at Landour School of Language.
