animations for face and body are seperate in ue5 and blended on the neck/head bone, you can capture movement for every part seperatly and blend them on a selected bone. you can basicly do almost everytihng you wan't if you know not to break everything 😅

I'm seriously considering purchasing the suit but I have to admit it looks like it's not quit there yet by your tests. And for $3,500 dollars I expect it to work better

a good tip for using mocap data in blender is to go through and run the smooth command on all the keyframes, gets rid of those tiny jitters

The fingers are wonky looking on your setup, as they are with mine. Also, the thumb in the rig receiving mocap retargeting needs to be in that straight rokoko thumb position which is used in calibration. Otherwise, the thumb points in a weird direction on the target character. Most rigs don't have the thumb positioned that way, so that needs to be fixed before the motion is used. I'm actually finding the whole rig to be unreliable, especially during setup. I had to spend 2 or 3 hours of going through boot mode problems and firmware updates which I had to do multiple times to get it working. And also problems getting the suit to see my wifi. At this point, I would never recommend spending $4000 on this wonky hardware which still needs a lot of work. It should just work right out of the box and be easy to get going. It's not.

iirc Epic have their own tool for face capture in unreal engine. It's only for Iphone so I never played around with it or looked into it too much but it looks pretty cool

You could also edit the animations with the animation layers addon

mount phone on head. maybe makeshift jig for that. so you can move more.

One strange question can you match teo diferent animations in one I mean, récord each hand for then match every récord of each hand to make a single animation?

if you buy yourself a rokoko or a perception neuron you will be very disappointed. There are many reasons .... but the most important thing is the quality of the animation itself. I have a comparison of Neuron and XSENS on my channel. Also on the Internet there is a comparison of rokoko and Xsens

The problem with the leg drift killed this product for me. I HATE THIS MOCAP SUIT. WORST PURCHASE EVER.
