Nice to see a critical review. The other reviewers are so relieved to finally have a wind synth that actually does play like a sax that they don't say much about the negatives. I don't think there'll be an update. Even after 5 years the stores still have plenty of stock and even if they are planning a new one, that stock has to go first or the stores won't order anyway.
I'm not sure what this guy is talking about but I love my Aerophone AE-10 and to me it was worth buying it new. Yes, I agree they can make it better but like all new products it will take some time. Until then I'm enjoying all the realistic sounds this instruments creates and I have used it on certain songs doing gigs. I still won't give up my saxophones but this instrument allows me to expand my creativity. It's just a FUN instrument to have and I would recommend this for beginners and professional sax players. Just sayin'
Howdy friend. When you go to tone "P:076" Acoustic Bass...does it sound really low volume or muted compared to the other tones while using the internal speakers? thanks
I cant imagine that there will be an internet update. I don't think Roland will update this for many years, and then it will only be a physical update. I think this is an example of one of Roland's forgotten about products. A product that probably cost a lot of money to make, and one that gives them little financial reward.
He actually starts playing the Aerophone AE-10 very briefly starting at 12:35. You get to hear a few notes from a nice external speaker and then from its little onboard cheeseball speaker.
@@sweetonsax Since you play so very well, it would have been great to feature more of the sounds from the AE-10. Still though, thank you so much taking the time to talk about its features. : )
I have it set to this Hertz, as this is the standard tuning frequency. My aerophone was 2nd hand and interestingly it was set to another frequency at first.
Sweet On Sax got it! Hey so I went through the whole settings just now to adjust on how I believe Im going to enjoy this thing... I didnt wanna come back here and go back and forth after I went through them all. But there are about 4-5 I have questions about... lol... Octave Key: Im guessing I should just keep that at Octave 1 since those bottom 2 would be more ideal for A and A flat? Or do you have yours on octave 2 or 3. Usertone: do you even use that really? Key Delay: default is 5 but for someone as experienced as you, do you still have it on 5? Finger mode: im going to be primarily playing tenor sax so im guessing SAX1 is ideal as opposed SAX2 (without altissimo) Last question...do you have a simple way of explaining thise multi effects MFX1 and MFX2 issa tad bit confusing.... Hopefully these questions might help others out. Sorry for the amount of ?s as well
