Roland's birthday party it's not over!
A few days ago they sent me these little magic boxes to try them out and in less than an hour of tweaking, I came out with this song!!!
The song title "A Big Tiny World" is because they are BIG sounding TINY boxes indeed! :D
They are:
J-6 Chord Synthesizer
T-8 Beat Machine
E-4 Voice Tweaker
Their sound quality is astonishing! It's amazing to have the power of ACB technology in such a small form factor...
Everything you hear in this video was played and recorded in real time, no post processing or FX was added.
I had so much fun, I hope you like it!

Absolutely love this. I bought all but the vocoder since I already own a harmony box. When everyone is making trap or rnb, it's nice to hear a 80s or 90s pop tune!! Great job. I bought the J-6 because of this video.

The ACB is the way to go for Roland, in my opinion. I have said this before, the System 8 outperforms the Jupiter X when it comes to sound quality. The X is an amazing piece of technology, and I know its versatility of options is unbeatable. But, if you are looking for that warm, sweet sound that really only analogue gives you, ACB is the one. You cannot tell its a digital synth.

COOL song, how can I record a song on the Macbook? What connection and software do I need? Played my J-6 it is addictive for sure 🙂

You may want to invest in an external recorder like a Zoom H6, Tascam X6 or a 1010music Bluebox and record DAWless. Tons of fun. If JUST the J-6 then USB-C into your Mac should do it.

Great performance! Can I ask how you recorded multiple aira s into your DAW. When I try only the one I have connected via the USB c comes through. If I try with the mix out and interface it sounds terrible. Thanks

My guess is he recorded to an external recorder, not a DAW. I will be attaching all my little boxes to a 1010music Bluebox for live recording.
