Hi - here's a new tutorial on making intermediate accompaniments using the Roland Fantom 06/07/08 keyboard.
In this tutorial I experiment with different string sounds, and use patterns and groups to create a traditional and a jazzy version of Pachelbel's Canon.

Your videos are a must-have for new Fantom-0 owners. Seems like it takes months to learn this instrument's full functionality and become fluent, and you have put in the time. Thanks so much for passing your knowledge along.

It's fun to find new stuff the keyboard can do. Every time I think I've run out of new stuff, I stumble into something I didn't know before - even after more than a year. What a machine! Thanks for watching.

Lastly, Pachelbel's Canon is a great piece to demonstrate ease of sequencing with this keyboard, because of the repetitive nature of the piece. Nice way to try out the SuperNatural orchestral instrument sounds

I take it then, that you are doing all your work directly on Fantom-0, not in a DAW? At some point I hope to learn how easy it is to use Fantom/Fantom-0 in Apple's Logic Pro.

Yes - it's all on directly on the FANTOM-0. I want to learn Ableton Live Lite, I just haven't gotten into it yet. Maybe that's a direction the tutorials can take in the future since everyone gets it with the keyboard. Thanks for the comments!

When you first get the keyboard, you are not able to access all 16 zones. I turned mines off and I forgot how to turn it back on. It comes off.

Maybe check your Scene Remain option. If that's on it reduces you down to 8 zones. support.roland.com/hc/en-us/articles/4585942115227-FANTOM-06-FANTOM-07-FANTOM-08-Can-I-set-Scene-Remain-for-a-desired-zone
