This is a fragment of the demo I filmed in 2020. Unfortunately I can’t find the audio file that I recorded in my DAW but this is the audio recorded through my phone.

In this video I’m playing a split that I made using an analog synth preset resembling a Moog synthesiser and an electric piano.
The cutoff filter is mapped to the knob I’m controlling in the beginning of the video.
After that I switch to a different preset that has pads and different synth elements in it.

Thinking of buying a fantom 8 . Would you recommend it . What speakers do you use with it.

I wouldn’t buy it. I would buy a computer and quality virtual instruments and as midi controller I would choose SL 88 Grand. I have Adam speakers but use inears live.

I don’t remember the name but its the only decent analog sounding patch I found at that time. I don’t own the Fantom at the moment but I have the presets.

I can predict that you will never make any hit on this machine . Better buy an arranger for your school hobby ....

You are right. I have a Fantom and it is definitely not for making songs. It is good for throwing down ideas and as a learning tool or even for practicing with another instrument because you can get a groove going quickly but as a song maker it just takes toooooooo looooong. I am in the market for an arranger maybe to add to this machine or even replace it.

@adamvarghesesatish3337 A good computer and a few decent sound libraries will be cheaper and will give you better results than any hardware workstation/keyboard.

@@rolandv-piano i was wondering that exact samw thing actully. Whats the point in a wprksattion? Why not get like an 88 key midi keyboard and a high quality DAW , which results in a much less expensive result... and better sounds. Why do people buy nords and that stuff.... Also i had one other question, why do they all say that you need a really good computer to be able to run and install proffesional high quality DAWS? Whats wrong with an average school / college laptop?

@@adamvarghesesatish3337 If you buy a cheap computer you’ll experience latency issues, your hard drives won’t be large enough and fast enough for good sound libraries, you’ll experience CPU overload and you’ll risk the possibility of your computer crashing when you play live. Keyboards are more reliable in that regard but have a bunch of other cons.
