Roland Fantom - Is this really the workstation that does it all? - Review with ENG subs.

Realmente amigo, o Roland Fantom/Rd88 tem muitos sons mulheres de timbres, mas não vem trabalhado de sons de fábrica como o Yamaha/nord né...ou seja tem quantidade e timbres pra ficar o mês todo mechendo...o timbres temos que editar pra ficar ao nosso gosto....coisas que o Yamaha Montage tem menos timbres, mas porém todos muito bem feito e na maioria das vezes não precisa editar.

Olá Diogo. Claro que sim. O K2700 faz parte dessa lista, mas como ainda não tive a oportunidade de experimentar, não saberia o que dizer. Só por causa disso é que eu não falei no K2700. Quando o tiver já depois falarei sobre as diferenças e semelhanças. Obrigado e um abraço.

Hello Dr.. Thank you for your comment. I would say it depends 😀! If you want a Synth/Pad/Lead machine with a very usable sequencer, I would say that the Fantom is a stronger option mostly because of the Roland specific models that sound so good. But, for me, a workstation is a “do it all, play it all” keyboard. And for that, I prefer the Montage because it has more usable piano, el. piano sounds as well as Clavs and Wurlitzer (I know it’s subjective). And the Montage also has a lot of good sounding pads, leads and synths. So, you don’t have as much choice as in the Fantom but you still have a lot of good and usable sounds. Only the organs I think are stronger in the Fantom because they added the VTW sound engine. But i personally have a Hammond XK5 and a Yamaha YC and they both sound better than the Fantom, so, in my specific case, the organs are not an issue. It’s really a matter of what you want the machine for. For me, I decided to keep the Montage and traded the Fantom for a Roland Jupiter-X 😂. It has all the great synths from Roland, it’s cheaper and it’s has really nice “hands-on control”. Hope to have helped in anyway. Thank you again for your comment.
