I've heard of some women getting pregnant just for the sake of child support checks, which I find lazy. However, the real problem arises when a man is ordered to pay child support and is being a responsible father, yet the mother uses that money for her own expenses-getting her hair and nails done, buying club outfits, and so on. Child support laws across all 50 states need a major overhaul. The funds should be distributed on a card similar to food stamps, strictly for the child’s food and clothing. If it’s discovered that a woman is misusing child support funds for personal expenses, the state should redirect part of those payments into a fund specifically for the child. While Big Worm made some questionable comments, his statement about abolishing child support was particularly ignorant. By the way, Roland, I’m a proud Houstonian and a JY alum. Go Lions!

Most courts do not allow, nor want minors in court unless absolutely necessary and there is a process for that. And, often times NCP does not follow up with court if/when they become CP. Is domestic violence involved that they're being jailed for? But just listening to his rhetoric, he sounds like he has some type of deficit.

Easy. Women take men that take care of their children to court all the time. I was one of those men. I did the math and was giving my sons mother $600 a month. She thought I wasn't giving enough or trying to get over. The court gave her $640. So do you think $40 was worth going to court. Or does $40 make you a deadbeat?

For example, I f you have your child 6 months out of the year, plus weekends and some holidays. Why would you pay those days when the child is at your house? Spend TIME with your kids.

Hello Anne, looking at Fazon I saw more hurt or anger potentially a court system that possibly denied him access reasonable access equal access and or a dollar amount that went well beyond taking care of your children. I’m telling you I heard him say that a child support system is unduly prejudiced toward non-custodial parents, many times by virtue of your sex. No one is advocating for not taking care of your responsibilities again taking Tire as the example his ex does not require $10-$20,000 per month to care for a single child and the money is in the best interest of the child, anything that’s above what required to care for the child reasonably maybe even generously to $3000 a month Chevy put into a trust fund for the child use when they’re adults so again using Tyrese as the example that additional seven to $17,000 put in a trust per month for the child as an adults and what is the responsibility and other woman to provide financial support. The pain I saw and frustration in that man’s face will transfer to that child at some point, the woman should know that if she cares about the child and not the check again I grew up in the family of 11. My father worked two jobs to care for us while my mother took care of us so I was well aware of the responsibility men of color should take, I’m saying women of color if we’re staying in the community should do the same and care about the children and not anything personal so I would call on these women who think 20,000 is worth it to demand an accounting of where that money goes doesn’t require 20,000 a monthhe requires the love the attention the time the laughs the hugs that’s how you care for your child
