Roland Handsonic HPD 20 Tut 5 Daw integration and controlling VSTi 

Very Well Presented tutorials - watched to the end to see if you covered how to play the samples inside the HPD20 with MIDI for a setup without a computer - needing to use an external MIDI controller to play the sounds inside the HPD20 - maybe it is really basic but it would help me play hang drum sounds without a computer with a MIDI touch sensitive controller - cannot find this anywhere, yet

thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I agree it is a wonderful instrument. My question is hopefully a simple one. I use stereo with guitar and keyboard instruments for many reasons, but I'm wondering if Handsonic stereo sound is 'useful'. For instance, if I was to use a stereo effect like delay, reverb, etc, I would most likely do it with effects 'external' to Handsonic. Do you find these types of effects available and useful 'inside' the instrument ? The only other thing I could think to use in strereo from handsonic would be panning certain pieces of a big drum kit slightly L and R to create a big wide sound. I use Handsonic, mainly for its hand drum and percussion sounds, not a large drum kit, and I use it in a live looping situation, not a recording situation (which it is obviously also great for).

Sir How can I play my HPD 20 into a lap top and hear it on it? . Do I need any more hardware ? Is there a free software for that ? Thanks in anticipation for your reply.
