Hi all, many thanks for all the amazing comments, this one has really been popular. I can never tell what will do good views wise as I like all my jams, I think that sometimes it all just comes together 👍
19:44 I’m just now getting into my newly bought JD-Xi and love learning it. Seeing your video blew me away. Beautiful piece of music. Inspirational and totally enjoyable. Thank you sir.
This is a masterpiece. I listen to it frequently, I have a jdxi, its inspiring, but it is one of my primary go tos to relax and rest my spirit. This vid is a gift, this is what music is all about, a gift to others that soothes the soul. Thank for it.
This is great! It's so nice to see a demo of the JD-xi that isn't a hard dance track. I've been considering buying one of these, and your demo has helped me make a decision. I agree with the person who said Roland should pay you for your demoing.
Absolutely amazing!!!!!!! If i could do only 10% of what you've done............ Please don't stop playing JD-XI. I can listen this music hours and hours. It's all i love in elctronic music. THX.
Congrats on the 1,000 subs Klaatu! I got my first 100 the other day, and I was pretty amped to know that people will support you, and don't even know you and I. That's a pretty awsome feeling, it really is. May your journey thrive with great music, health and pure inspiration...SBN
Wow! One of the best JD-XI performances I've found so far! More like this please!!!! I really would like to see some werk videos how you put together these songs! :)
Wow! Only discovered your channel now (and subscribed) JD-XI seems to have all the flavour of 80/90s in a good sense :) Beautiful tune and tasteful video :)
I agree with the opinion going around: this is a truly wonderful jam, everything about it is inspired. I was looking for a demo of the jdxi and found much more than that. Thank you for sharing this, I am glad I discovered your channel and I am looking forward to seeing more ofnyour work in the future.
i love mine. i use it almost every time i make music. thing is, when you do a lot of motion sequencing the knobs go faulty with all the turning etc. i've had one before and on my 2nd. same thing has happened so the next jdxi i will go easy on as it really is a giving synth. great stuff and nice to hear some chilled stuff for one
Very cool - I just bought a JD-Xi to create music for my drone videos - I played bass for years and also have a guitar - hopefully at some point I can put all 3 together and make some music for myself. Nice work.
Sooo good !! Small mind Big music . Love it! Bought one myself. Own a JD-XA also. So complicated. The look the same, it seem to come from two completely different teams. Everything is so intuitive with the little brother the bigger brother Not.
Well done K.!!.. Totally agree with DJ Hayes & there's a lot of idiots using them too, I've been doin my research on this keyboard as I'm considering using it in a pro set-up, I Really enjoyed that! I'm an ambient fan, I got nicely drawn into it....oh! & a big 10 for the visuals!...Thanks for the upload👍
Wow! This was unbelievable! Awesome chill out sounds, this jam gave me goosebumps! I just got the JD-Xi myself, but I haven´t had the time to try it yet. Bought it second hand. I can´t wait to go down the rabbit hole of this synth, forgetting the world, for a moment, covid-19 and everything and just jam! :)
@@DJ_TideWave ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wWM5EV9liNc.html Axial sounds collection. I'm currently working on an internal battery hack for mine 😉
Wow, just....Wow. I've not watched any of your other stuff (yet), but this is incredible. Almost jarre-esq sometimes. If it was half the length and you have another 6 or so pieces of similar quality they would be worthy of a CD. Good stuff my man, will be checking out what else you've got.
Love the chilled cosmic sound - the JDXi can be so versatile given some experimentation! And another reminder it's the artist not the budget that makes the art - kudos to you👍
Now THIS is the music I want to make on my JDXI! Any hints/tips on patterns, patches and drum kit greatly appreciated. Very inspirational. Thank you for sharing!
Silver Fox hey thanks, so start with a slow tempo around 40, and set the resolution to 32. That way you can get a longer pattern. Then don’t forget you can use pitched samples on the drum track, and each one can have its own volume level and pan. Also, I turn down the volume on all the tracks apart from the analogue track, when filtering the analogue track a lot it is really quiet so that way you can still hear it filtered.
@@KlaatuNinja when you say pitched samples on the drum track, what is it you mean? Had this synth for years and have never been as fond of the drum machine section as the rest of it. Also, loved this track, keep it up!
Wow. Great stuff, I have a JD-Xi too and this makes me want to try some synth sequencing. I've used it just to add some synths and vocoder fun in a live band, and occasionally as a drum machine. Did you have any of this pre-planned on paper or something?
How do you set the tempo below 60 in the menus? I haven't worked out where in the menu you can do that. This is really incredible, by the way. You did an amazing job.
