Roland asked me to showcase the new JD-800 Model Expansion, so here's a quick DEMO with some of my favourite presets. I hope you like it!

I stupidly got the Korg Wavestation back in the day instead of the JD800, the Wail Guitar patch was worth the price of the JD 800 alone lol This is a great demo and makes me want to sell my guitars and get a Jupiter X.

It's quite close, but of course the analog parts, like the DA converters, are different, and they are not modeled in the Zen-core expansion, so at times you can hear the different, less vintage character. Any way, a good and usable instrument.

you can get a good DAC and Audio Interface and you will have even more warmth sound) thats all plus Analog compressor/limiter and it will sounds like no others

Sounds like you'll go down the same road I did when the original JD800 came out in the 91. I spend a work lunch break playing the newly released JD in a music store, played that wailing guitar patch and that was it, I was arranging a loan the very next day. Bloody GAS lol. I think if I was in the same boat now and same age and status, I'd probably do the same for a Jupiter X and seeing as a Jupiter 8 was my all time dream synth, it would be very cool.

Nice demo, nice playing...although I think the chord progressions of these demo´s also can use an update/expansion, since they are more or less always the same...
