Demonstrating some of my most used sounds in the Roland Juno DS 88, covering EPs, Organs, Clavs and various others. For a demo of the default grand piano sound, please check out my other video "Roland Juno-DS 88 Jazz Piano" (link below).
There's an enormous range of sounds in this keyboard so it's impossible to cover all of them, but I've included what I think are the best staple sounds. For some of the sounds (mainly organs) I'm using the EXP-02 expansion pack which is free to download from the Roland Axial website. I do have a wrist injury that prevents me from doing some of the things you do but in any case, you would def make a lot of money in a place like Nashville. This video straight up made me purchase a Juno DS61. Was waiting to get the black keys version of the Crumar Mojo61, but the sounds on the Juno are fantastic. I love it when boards like this have a slightly 'artificial' element to EP's and Organs--and this one just sounds otherworldly at times. Great for experimental/electronic stuff. Thanks for the outstanding demo!

I just took up the instrument and chose the Juno DS88, and I'm glad I did! Great action, easy to hook up to the computer for lesson apps, and the action feels like a real piano. I hope to sound as good as you one day!

This video helped me choose this keyboard over the more expensive one I was considering. I would really appreciate the help, though... -How did you add tremolo to Pf:044? I have Pure EP Trem as 045, but the tremolo is really slow. Did you go in and edit it? -Did you change your key touch velocities for each instrument individually? Your sounds sound much more perfect than mine, but maybe you're just a better pianist. -I noticed some of your sounds are in a different place, like Acid TB Bass is labeled GT:255 but I have a different sound for that spot. If I download more sounds from Roland, does it move things into different places or something? -I noticed that my leslie effects for the organ sounds don't sound as good as yours, did you change them, or are those new sounds just that much better than the normal organ sounds? That was more questions than I thought. If you ever happen to answer them, I'd appreciate it.

He’s a great player. As a workstation you can’t beat it for the price . I am buying a DS 88 and I can’t wait. The truth is is I’ve got a lot of work to do to catch up. And I don’t think there’s a better keyboard out there for me.

Yeah I'd say so! So many sounds to choose from that you can normally something that fits your needs
