Watching this again after the Juno release!! This was great! I can hear the default character difference between the two boards. Roland is doing this right! I do prefer the Juno-X for the type of music I create. The XV5080 was the beast back when I started making music!
Great demo! Nice camera work! How do you feel about the ability to edit parameters that are not on the surface. Is there a way to assign them to generic assignable knobs on the front panel?
Yes, you are right. The edit surface is kept very tight... It would be interesting if Roland make it compatible with all the rolandcloud Instruments which you can use as editor preferably as an app....
Thx for your support. Yes, Jupiter-8 and JX-8P Models will come soon. Most are presets and single (no combination). I just play and edit them live. Some with built-in arpeggio and Drum Machines TR-808, TR-909, CR-78...
@@monsterjazzlicks Yeah it got released in May 2020 I got one it's not bad you may hate it at first since its a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it and how it works you will love it
i want the Nord Wave 2 because of your other videos, but this video makes me want the Jupiter X. if you had to choose between the two, which one do you favor more?
really difficult to say... in general I find nord wave 2 is more versatile. But if you are looking for the legendary sounds of the Juno, JX-8P, SH101 and Jupiter, you should take the Jupiter-X.
