Enjoyed this video! I have a SPD 20. I use a single QSC K8.2 speaker plugging straight in with no mixer. Using just a 1/4" to 1/4" TS cable from mono out works fine. Question: Would using dual TS from Roland to XLR into speaker improve sound or give any more gain?

I see he's using two Roland foot switches but the SPD-30 only has one FW input. What is he using the second one for? What model Roland FW is that?

unfortunately, im like 90% sure you cannot. the sounds are already loaded into it. however, if you want to upload sounds onto something like this, theres something called, i believe, a sample pad. its a lot like the octapad, but you can upload sounds if i remember right. you should check that out

HI. Is it possible to play sounds when the lopp is stoppend from external pad without starting the loop again.. for example, if there is break in the song you could play like timbale break or something and after that start the loop again from ext. pad. I cannot find how to do this without starting the loop everytime i hit the pads..?? If YOU know how, tell me!!!

The manual dont even have the full instrument listing on the Roland SPD 30 manual unlike the Roland spd 20 manual did have full listing printed on it. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Does the Roland SPD 20 have more sounds than SPD-30??????

Dont Understand why they didnt include features i.e. the D BEAM Sensor and also Import and export .WAV/AIFF files. This Would have made the OCTAPAD SPD 30 even exciting to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
