I've used about 5 different handheld recorders now, and as far as quality output goes this is the best so far. The Roland R07 is user friendly, versatile and very professional. My only concerns were with the use of MicroSD (fiddly and annoying to use) and an unexplained inability to get a Bluetooth connection.

Buongiorno ho bisogno di un aiuto, ho comprato r07 roland registratore digitale ma il cavo nella confezione non fa trasferimento dti.Devo trasferire le registrazioni dal registratore al pc.Sulle istruzioni c'e' scritto non utilizzare micro usb.Ma la porta e' micro usb.Quale cavo posso prendere(su amazon)? Grazie

IMPORTANT - The user should connect via Bluetooth through the ROLAND R 07 app and not through the settings menu. The app has an option internally in the app to connect to the recorder via Bluetooth. I made the exact same mistake in your video and almost returned it, but read the user guide beforehand and found this out. The app connects independent and the directions say specifically not to connect through settings. Once I clicked "FORGET" in the settings and then connected through the app I haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps.

It seems that voice memo is intentionally "lite" for maximum record time. Just 128kbp MP3. Like a throwback to downloading music in the 00s.

I got one of these on clearance for $76. I think maybe it's been discontinued so I'm glad I picked it up.

I got one a few years ago and lost it. Just recently found it again and have never used it. I want to use it though so here I am trying to learn how to do it. What is the audio editing software u recommend? I am new to this sort of thing. I am not learned in audio and video editing. I don't know where to start. Something that doesn't break the bank while I am learning at least.

@@JennySimon206 Audacity is free and very capable. For multitrack, I use Audition since it comes with my existing Adobe subscription, Sound Forge used to be my go-to in the 90s/early 00s.
