If a keyboard comes with an owner's manual and you still need to send someone to make videos explaining how to use it, it means that you've overcomplicate the engineering..

Roland, please create separate buttons as registration buttons and put them on the left side of the screen in the future products. Pressing Favorite and then choosing a bank are the extra steps we do not like to go through during live performances. And having them close to the left hand makes so much sense for switching between tones during performance. Thank you🙏🏼

I have never seen such a complicated, convoluted system in my life. I've watched it 5 times and still don't understand what the logic is behind this.

I'd love to see Roland explain 'how to make a sandwich'. It would go on for about six weeks. And we'd still be none the wiser.

Thanks for your video, i understand now, the owner's manual isnt clear about this point, the screen dont help us because text and images of the screen arent made for this function ; but seeing you operating really made me understand and now i save my favorites very quickly , thank a lot good job !

When I made my own sound and tried to save in favorite the dual and split was not included and hasn’t been registered. 😢

It is easy to save to favorites,. However I wish it had the ability to store the split or dual sound with the scene you select. To me that would be more beneficial.

Why didn' lit the registratet ones`(0, 1 and 9)?? So it is easier to see where I have My favorites Saved? And why roland start with "0"? I have an Juno DS, that works similar (but just lit the saved favorites) and it starts with "0" too. I always confused, when i save something on the 3rd Button, but didn't find it on No.3 but No.2.. Very confusing :)

How can I override a favorite that I've edited a little differently and save it to the same spot after editing. I've tried this using the same "press and hold the on button" and it will not change from my original settings. Anyone? Please!

Question: in each bank slot (0-9), there are several bank options for each number. How do I save a favorite to a specific spot on each slot of 1 number. Also, how do I choose the number to save it to? My RD-88 is brand new and the saving of the favorites is choosing random numbers to save it to. For example: I saved a flute ensemble to 7, it saved on the first spot. Perfect. THEN, I tried to save an organ ensemble to slot 8, and it saved to slot 9 of slot 8. Nothing else is registered. How do I change this or even select a slot that far up on a number quickly? Hope this wasn’t co fusing. Thanks so much!!

So you can save 100 scenes in 10 banks? How do you save, for example 10 sounds in bank 1 ? Or do dual sounds count as 1 scene ? Like for example grand piano and synth strings ? Would that count as 1 scene ?

I'm finding that the lower (bass) sounds are monophonic on the splits. So I have to be careful to separate the notes or they won't play. Is this a bug, or is it how the system is designed? I couldn't find any reference to polyphonic or monophonic in the manual.
