Can’t remember which preset I used. I like the Silver 2, Impactance and the Triple ones. Also I use the “Super Heavy” setting for key touch. Maybe I’ll do a detailed video where I build a preset from scratch.

I just found a brand new V-Piano in a big local store that for some reason they left out of inventory, they offered it with a reduced price from the original, I had no option but to buy it. I hope it was a good buy, it’s been too long since Roland came out with it that I am afraid it is obsolete at this 2021, I would like to learn the opinion of the ones that knows about it.

I owned a V piano for about a year. Really liked the sound engine but the action leaves a lot to be desired… especially when it comes to the keybed depth and key return / escapement. Would be nice to see Roland bring it closer to what Kawai is doing. I would have kept it if the action wasn’t an issue.
The piano action is one of the best things about it for me - a lot of digital pianos are artificially heavy and hard to play. I’ve played a Steinway grand with a beautiful light action that was comparable. It is a myth that all grand pianos have heavy actions.
I have to say, after practicing for a few moths on the V-Piano or even an acoustic upright, my fingers feel weak and it takes me a while to adapt to an concert grand especially if I play a new Yamaha C7 or a Steinway D. That being said, I recently tried the Kawai VPC 1 and the touch feels fake and non responsive. It also doesn’t have the anti-slip feature(the pores and lines on the keys) so it is so slippery that I’m not comfortable playing it.
