Rolly was being quite repetitive. Pawing the left hand up high and then moving in with jab straight combinations to the body. He was committing his body to get inside. Ryan did an okay job of moving backwards to evade the shots, Rolly would get to him if Ryan backed up against the ropes. Ryan should have kept doing this as Rolly was moving in each time. But he should then switch it up and suprise Rolly by staying there and throw an uppercut as Rolly moves in. It would have caught him. For example Holmes caught Tyson with a few good shots like this during the first 3 rounds of their fight.

Rolly bullying ryan was counter punching him and hurt him bad with a left hook counter that if Ryan was treating it as a real fight he would have ko'd rolly, the bigger guy. Garcia relies on his speed too much, eventually a fighter with timing will KO him. He’s very talented but he clearly relies on his hand speed to bail him out of his garbage defence and chin high up. Not just in this spar but all fights.

Exactly. He just doesn't have the tools that more experienced fighters have. He's got a good jab and check hook but doesn't create body shots. Even on smaller guys he fights the same angles/distance. Devin Haney on the other hand is a more complete fighter. Much higher ring IQ but doesn't have the speed of Garcia but he can think and adapt like a pro.

Garcia- needs experience with getting his chin tested. His reactions show a lack of experience. Romero- emotional, his frustration and/or anger shows. Overall Garcia would be a better fight for gervonta but not yet. He needs more time to develop. Garcia definitely has a bright future if he focuses on honing his skills. Romero has skill...until his emotions come in

100% agree. He most definitely got the best of Rolly. Every thinks Rolly won for the simple fact that he threw more power punches(that's all this foo throws). He didn't land much of them tho(mostly cuz Ryan's Stupid stiffen up and elbow block defense was actually working). Ryan definitely showed Rolly that he's capable and even able to bite back just with different jaws.

You don't know shit about boxing. Ryan was schooling Rollie till his nose started bleeding. Rollie had no answer for Ryan's jab and would get countered when he threw his own jab. Rollie fought dirty, his footwork looked like shit, and Ryan could read his rhythm. Rollie dirty tactics worked just for that 1 round but the rest Ryan schooled that boy.

good sportsmanship by Ryan. You can tell he was holding back , and still managed to stay on point .He landed the cleaner punches in my opinion, and managed to take control of the ring with his speed .

Ryan was in fighter flight mode dude. Ryan was going up against someone with more experience at the time, who was literally trying to take his head off. Ryan was most definitely landing clean shots, but he wouldn't have ever been able to do so, without his fight or flight mode on. Minus the head gear, I think those shots that ryan were landing, probably would have been more liable to knock rolando out.

J J Ryan was fighting defensively. Hit and don’t get hit is the name of the game . Ryan also has more experience than Roland . Ryan has been boxing longer. It would definitely be an interesting dynamic to see both of them in a boxing match bro. We’ll see what the future holds .

This was a mismatch. Ryan is way more developed than Rolly. Rolly started his boxing career at 18 years old, meanwhile Garcia has an impressive Amateur career! IF they were to fight each other Garcia would out box the shit out of Rolly.
