Been wearing some of his resoles since 2019 he took my favorite Italian boots that were Blake stitched originally and gave them a goodyear welt !. :-) and he sent them all the way back to me here in the not so sunny UK. I am expecting my others back any time now! Do not hesitate to use Brian if you live outside the US! He is the best!
Your advice and opinions on used boots are right on as well. By being patient and knowing what to look for, you can find some rare and excellent deals.
You were very blessed to have acquired the lace to toe boots used and fit you well. I do love that style and within price range. I am a big fan of engineer style boots however they may be out of reach. I may give him a visit for measurements, lucky me I only live 40 min away hehehe. Great thing about horsehide especially USA hides, horses cannot be slaughtered for their hides. They have to die of natural causes. The love of such a noble creature.
I am waiting on a pair of black lace to toe boots from Brian the Bootmaker (my wait time was just over 2 1/2 years) and can't wait to get them!
