The one lady who has inspired me a lot is Savitri Bai Phule. Though She didn't participate in the freedom struggle, She along with her husband did more than one could think, to uplift the lives of the downtrodden people ( lower caste people) and women. The couple dedicated their whole life in their service without caring of their own health. When we read that Savitri Bai Phule died while taking care of the people suffering from plague, there develop goosebumps.
