I am a 54 year old man living in Creston Iowa in the US. I had the very same boxed edition of Gamma World you have shown in your video. I enjoyed the nestalgia, carry on. I enjoyed watching, will continue watching! 🤗
ah yes Gamma world, bought this one back in 82 loved the cover, I think some of the most striking box covers among the TSR games. had fun playing it esp. with the legion of gold module, the suceeding editions, well...I only liked the 6th edition the one that white wolf published.
Hi! Gamma World 1st edition, is by far the best, weird, gonzo post apocalyptic rpg even made, later editions lost a lot of the crazy goodness found in the 1st edition. The version in your review is the second edition printing of the 1st edition, you can tell all three 1st edition printing versions apart by the TSR logo on the box, first printing logo is a lizardman, second is a wizard, and third is the TSR face logo, the third printing is the one you will see out in the wilds a lot, the former two printing versions are more rare to find and expansive if collecting. Also there was a large range of 25mm miniatures developed for GW 1st edition most of them I have in my collection, though they are hard to find, rare and costly. Thanks for the review, cheers!
Thanks for you feedback. Nice to see about the logo's I cerainly did not pay a lot of attention to it over time. First edition is the one we played and enjoyed, having the 2nd printing still makes it pretty good for hitting the shelves in Brisbane.
@@TheDustedGameShelf also the screen in your box set is indeed the GW 1st edition GM screen, it originally came with a mini module that you also have. And the soft cover book is the 4th edition and it sucked, anything after GW 1st is just not gamma world in my personal opinion, good thing GW 1st is available on drivethrurpg as a pod and a high quality pdf so everyone has a chance to play GW 1st.
